German oak bracket clock, early 20th century, unnamed, the bell topped case with gilt brass mounts enclosing a brass arched dial with silvered rings on an eight day movement counting the quarters on two coils, height 66cm (ticks, winds, strikes, keeps time), together with its stout carved walnut wall bracket. *See clocks and watches proviso. Wood, Dublin circa 1740, circular form, cast pierced border with trailing grape-vines and a gadroon outer border, on four grape bracket feet, diameter 16.3cm, approx. weight 5.9oz. Provenance: purchased from J. Weldon, Dublin.
An Austro-Hungarian silver-gilt and enamel two handled bowl, apparently unmarked, shaped oval form, part fluted decoration, mythical drop-ring handles, decorated with playful putti in landscape settings above masks and foliate scroll decoration, on a raised oval bracket foot with a collar, some chips, length 9.3cm.
