A Chinese Cloisonne Mirror Frame, Qing Dynasty, the shaped cresting worked with three large lotus blossoms against a turquoise ground, divided from the main frame by two gilt bronze sky dragons chasing a cosmic pearl, the bracket arched and reserved mirror plate within a frame of Buddhistic precious objects and bats centred by a Shou medallion (the mirror and backing plate of a later date), {53cm high, 46.5cm wide} (small holes drilled to the angles just below the dragons, small losses and old repair)
A Glasgow Style mahogany fire surround, probably supplied by Wylie & Lochhead, Glasgow, the moulded surmount over an open shelf with bracket supports and a rectangular mirrored plate, with bow fronted mantle shelf below and frieze of bas relief stylised buds above, the whole enclosed by square uprights with bas relief-carved panels, the fireplace of cast iron with panels of stylised flowers and with tapered hood above upright cast with whiplash foliage enclosing a grate (damaged) surround, 173cm wide x 211cm high, fireplace, 59cm wide x 97cm high (2)
A late Victorian brass cased lantern clock of "17th Century" design, the 6.5ins chapter ring with engraved dial centre inscribed "Robert Lench, Stradishall", with single hand to the eight day single train movement with anchor escapement and passing strike, contained in case of traditional pattern with turned uprights, turned finial, fretted twin dolphin pattern crestings, on turned feet, 15.5ins high, and later wall bracket for same
A late 18th Century mahogany longcase clock by Richard Mason of St. Albans, the 12ins arched brass dial with Roman and Arabic numerals to the chapter ring, strike/silent dial to arch, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture to the eight day two train five pillar movement striking on a bell, contained in case with shaped and moulded pediment and fretted frieze panel, turned, fluted and brass stopped columns to hood, shaped trunk door, the plinth base with raised panel of shaped outline, cant corners, on bracket feet, 95ins high (dial formerly part silvered and case repolished) .
An 18th Century walnut chest on stand, the top inlaid with herringbone bandings and oval banding, the upper part fitted two short and three long drawers, the drawers with matched veneered panels and inlaid with herringbone bandings, on stand fitted three drawers above shaped kneehole, on later bracket feet, 41ins wide x 47ins high (formerly probably on cabriole legs - in need of restoration)
