An early 18th century walnut oyster veneered Chest of drawers, the rectangular moulded top with radiating boxwood line inlay, comprising of two short drawers over three long graduating drawers, each with walnut banding, pin handles, and oak carcasses, flanked by veneered sides also with decorative boxwood line inlay, raised on later shaped oak bracket feet, W 103 cm x H 90 cm x D 58 cm
A Swiss Silver-Gilt and Enamel Timepiece, Maker's Mark an Arrow Piercing a Heart, Circa 1900, Numbered 29330, The Dial Signed Colombia, Genève in the style of an 18th-century Neuchâtelois bracket-clock, tapering and overall decorated with green guilloche enamel and painted with flowers, all within white enamel borders, with an openwork foliage panel below the round dial, with Arabic numerals, the back hinged to reveal the movement, in fitted leather-covered casethe timepiece 10.5cm high Marked on back of hinged door with maker's mark and Swiss bear standard mark inside. Further marked below hinged door with Swiss bear standard mark. Each piece further stamped '29330'. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some minor chips to the white enamel borders on top and a possible crack to the enamel on one side. There are some scuffs and marks to the case. The silk inside damaged in some places. The dial surface clean. The movement winding smoothly and hands setting correctly. Movement in going order.
A George II Walnut, Figured Walnut and Crossbanded Chest on Chest, 2nd quarter 18th century, the cavetto cornice above three short and six long oak-lined drawers, the bottom drawer inlaid with a sunburst, on bracket feet108cm by 55cm by 167cmReasonable cosmetic condition (especially the drawer fronts). There are some small faults around the drawer edges (as photographed). There are several sections of crossbanding have been replaced around the drawers. The brackets are different colour. The panels have numerous splits which have been partly filled and polished, as well as some small repairs. There is also a section of moulding missing on the right-hand side. The left-hand side panel again has various splits, with a further section of moulding missing. The drawers are oak-lined and run freely. The bracket feet are later. The bottom drawer has some scratches around the escutcheon (this is only visible from certain angles). With two keys. Please see further images.
A Queen Anne Gilt Mirror, the plain mirror plate within a moulded frame with two inverted wood brackets suspending two scrolled brass candle holders with circular drip pans, 18th century and later76cm by 48cmReasonable decorative order. The frame has been re-gilded, however, there are some small losses. The verso has some bracket marks visible. The brackets for the candle arms are of later date. A George III Mahogany Serpentine Chest of Drawers, early 19th century, the moulded top above four long graduated drawers with later brass handles, on moulded bracket feet85cm by 48cm by 80cmOverall good condition, however, there are some slight variations in colour. The drawer fronts are slightly lighter than the top and the left-hand end panel is slightly faded. The top section has some general scuffs and scratches, as well as some slight water? marks. The top also has a fine split (this is only really visible when viewing the chest from the side - see photograph). The backboards to the verso have been darkened/painted black. The brasses are later but no previous handle marks visible. The bracket feet are also later. Please see further images.

A George III Mahogany Straight-Front Chest of Drawers, circa 1800, the moulded top above two short and three long oak-lined drawers, on a moulded base with bracket feet80cm by 48cm by 79cmSome variations in colour, this is mainly to the top section which is lighter than the drawer fronts. The top section has some general scratches, both to the top and the sides. The top section also has a bruise (as photographed). The drawer fronts have recently been polished so they are therefore in reasonable cosmetic condition. The base section has some scuffs (as photographed).
A George II Figured Walnut, Boxwood and Ebony-Strung Straight-Front Chest of Drawers, mid 18th century, the four short over four long oak-lined drawers with original brass handles and escutcheons, on scrolled bracket feet 96cm by 43cm by 118cm Various old splits consistent with age. The drawers are oak-lined and run freely. The locks and handles have been replaced, but there are no previous handle marks visible. There is some old decay to the lower section, particularly to the bottom left-hand drawer - the timber is rather dry around this area, with a section of moulding missing. Please see further images.
An Ebonised Striking Table clock, signed Jonathan Lowndes, Pall Mall, London, circa 1700, later case with a gilt brass mounted basket top pediment with carrying handle, side glass panels, underside of the case with pull repeat cord, bracket feet, 7-inch square brass dial with a Roman numeral silvered chapter ring, matted dial centre with ringed winding holes, date aperture, winged cherub spandrels, strike/non strike selection above 12 and signed Jonathan Lowndes and place name signed below 6, five pillar movement converted from a verge to an anchor escapement, hour rack striking on a bell, (pull quarter repeat mechanism missing), movement backplate elaborately engraved throughout with floral decoration and with a central rectangular signed cartouche, (dial and movement circa 1700, case of a later date)42cm high over handleLater case has been re-ebonised to the surfaces, case of a later date, (dial and movement circa 1700), later added wooden blocks beneath movement, wooden beading around the dial border with chips, later hands, movement now converted from a verge to an anchor escapement, movement plates with signs of vacant holes which in my opinion this would have been the pull quarter repeat work which is now missing, later pendulum, movement is striking and in going order.

With original invoice from Tennants of Yorkshire, Market Place, Leyburn, 23 April 1988, lot 428 Generally very good condition throughout. Wardrobe - the moulded cornice has numerous sections of bone which are now detached (we do have a number of these pieces but not all to make it complete). The right-hand side of the cornice has a small split. With some general scuffs and scratches around the moulded section. Dressing Table - similar colour to the wardrobe. The timber is slightly dry on top and there are some very fine natural? splits (as photographed). Small sections of veneer are missing around the kneehole. The mirror plates are slightly tarnished. Bowfront Chest - in comparison to the wardrobe and the dressing table, the chest is in better condition and of better colour. There is some small scuffs and areas of bruising, mainly around the bracket feet. Please see further images.
