VAN CLEEF & ARPELS; an 18ct gold 'black platinum' ruby and diamond necklace, the openwork linked chain set with diamonds to every bracket supporting an octagonal pendant drop centred with a natural ruby weighing approx 5.75ct, within a border of diamonds, stamped 'Van Cleef & Arpels, Made in France 23820', and each gold link inscribed 'S-te.A' (Société anonyme Arpels), overall length 41cm, approx 83g. Presented with GIA Graduate Gemologist certificate. CONDITION REPORT: Not boxed (as catalogued). Please refer to certificate in additional images for further details.
**AMENDED DESCRIPTION** A George III mahogany bracket clock with brass swing loop carrying handle above domed case, arched silvered dial set with strike/silent dial and inscribed 'William Baird, London', housing a twin fusee verge escapement movement, striking on a bell, and raised on brass ogee bracket feet, height approx 41cm. CONDITION REPORT: Splits to domed top, otherwise good order. See addition photos for extra information. Please note amendment to description - George III not George II. The doors are open and we have a key.
A Regency mahogany and brass inlaid bracket clock, the arched case above painted dial inscribed 'Alexd Purvis, North Audley St. London', housing an eight day single fusee movement raised on brass paw feet, height 34.75cm. CONDITION REPORT: The dial has been repainted but this is crazed and cracked throughout, two horizontal old repairs to veneers to the front and the brass detailing has possibly been replaced. General wear to the case. Sold with a pendulum, door key and winding key. The clock has come from a collection where the gentleman has had them running up until recently.
A late 18th century Dutch ebonised bracket clock with brass finials above arched dial inscribed '1774', above chapter ring set with Roman numerals and verge escapement movement no.55-3-611, raised on brass feet, height 38cm. CONDITION REPORT: Sold with small bob pendulum and winding key. Some old repairs to the case. Dial is very fresh and possibly a replacement. The clock has come from a collection where the gentleman has had them running up until recently. Dimensions of dial 16 x 11.75cm. Glass missing from rear door, elements of restoration throughout.
An early 19th century mahogany bracket clock with arched top, cone finials, reeded pilasters, and foliate carved panel to patterned ball feet, with gilt metal lion mask handles to the sides above lancet brass fish grill sides, the white circular dial set with Roman numerals and inscribed 'W Edwards, Devonport, the rear arched glazed hinged door enclosing an eight day twin fusee movement striking on bell, height 48cm.

A late Victorian mahogany easel with adjustable brass central rack and square section supports. CONDITION REPORT: The wood itself is in good order, but the action is not working fully. We have been able to rest a picture on it, but the bracket does not slide correctly, and the block bracket is loose.
A late George III oak chest of two short and three long graduated drawers raised on ogee bracket feet, width 91cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a split between the top boards which has been filled with a slither of wood, the right hand side the plank to the back is slightly bowed against the front plank., locks and handles have been replaced, but the handles have been matched to original holes.Wear commensurate with age and use, with knocks and old scratching to all surfaces, the cock beading to the lower edge of the top right hand draw has been knocked and dented.

CONDITION REPORT: The barrel unscrews and fits into a bracket top right in the case, the remaining section then sits on the shelf.
