A 19TH CENTURY INLAID MAHOGANY LONG CASE CLOCK with 13¼" brass dial with a roundel in the arch signed John Taylor Dunning with subsidiary seconds and date dials, cast mask and leafy spandrels the two train eight day movement with anchor escapement, rack striking on a bell the case with a swan neck cresting above turned hood columns the trunk with outset columns and a bow front door inlaid with a winged Griffin, raised upon bracket feet, 87" high.

A George III walnut tallboy, in two sections, the top half with a moulded cornice above a crossbanded frieze and with two short and three long graduated drawers with brass swans neck drop handles with shaped backplates and lock escutcheons, flanked by fluted quarter column corners, the base fitted with three further graduated drawers, with moulding below and raised on bracket feet. Width 43 ins (see illustration).
A George III oak longcase clock by W. Muncaster Whitehaven, with ball and steeple finial between the swans neck pediment, with punched brass terminals in turn above the arched painted dial with moon phase, Roman numerals and subsidiary Arabic numerals with date hand, width 12.5 ins and with thirty-hour movement, flanked by fluted columns with 3/4 length arched trunk door flanked by fluted columns and with conforming base raised on bracket feet. Height including finial 87 ins (see illustration).
A Regency mahogany secretaire linen press, attributed to Gillows, in two sections, the top half with a moulded arched pediment above a crossbanded frieze in turn above a pair of well figured doors enclosing pullout trays, the base fitted with one long secretaire drawer with oval centre medallion, brass knob handles and interior fitted to a Gillows design above three further drawers with brass knob handles and raised on bracket feet. Width 49.5 ins (see illustration). NOTE - this piece of furniture bears all the attributes of Gillows of Lancaster. Interestingly, it has a pencil signature underneath the bottom drawer dated 1st May 1811"T. Atkinson". T Atkinson was a cabinetmaker known to have worked in Lancaster in the Regency period.
A 19th century Scottish mahogany chest of drawers, the rectangular top with crossbanded edge above a series of short drawers and three long graduated drawers with brass drop handles and embossed oval backplates and with cockbeading and boxwood stringing to the drawer fronts, flanked by quarter turned columns and raised on bracket feet. Width 47 ins.
A George III oak and mahogany crossbanded mule chest, North Country, the rectangular top with moulded edge crossbanded in mahogany and in turn above two dummy frieze drawers with brass swans neck drop handles and with five further drawers beneath flanked by fluted quarter column corners with moulding below and raised on ogee bracket feet. Width 58 ins.
A George III oak and mahogany crossbanded standing corner cupboard, in two sections, the top half with a moulded cornice above a boxwood and ebony strung frieze and in turn above a pair of thirteen pane glazed doors with moulded astragals enclosing shaped shelves, with centre brass edging strip and flanked by canted angles and with conforming base raised on tall bracket feet. Width 43 ins.
A late Victorian oak Arts & Crafts wardrobe with dressing table to match, the wardrobe with a moulded cornice above a rectangular bevelled mirrored door flanked by stylised tulip carved panels, the base fitted with a drawer and raised on bracket feet. Wardrobe width 61 ins, dressing table width 42.5 ins.
A late Victorian/Edwardian inlaid mahogany narrow chest of drawers, the rectangular top with moulded edge being boxwood and ebony strung and with pullout slide beneath, with four graduated drawers with brass drop handles with punched oval backplates and raised on ogee bracket feet. Width 21 ins (see illustration).

A late 18th Century oak longcase eight-day clock, the hood with swan neck and central ball finial enclosed by an arch top door with fluted columns to the sides, the trunk enclosed by a panel door, raised on bracket feet, fitted an arch top brass dial with griffin and Tempus Fugit engraved on a silvered concave roundel with pierced spandrels and engraved centre, the silvered chapter ring with Arabic and Roman numerals having subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the dial inscribed Thomas Pinfold, Middleton Cheney, 236cm (93") high
