A Regency mahogany bracket clock, C.1820, the shaped pediment over an eight inch painted tin dial, enclosing a single train fusee movement, on a plinth base and four shaped feet, 38cm high. (key and pendulum)Condition Report: General scratching to the dialPatching and repairs to the case.Rubbing to the numeralsClock has the potential to run, and did run for a while. We would advise attention from a clock restorer.There is no securing screw for the pendulum . The hands are bent.
A George I burr walnut cabinet on chest, feather banded, the cavetto moulded cornice above a pair of arched panelled doors enclosing a later mirror lined interior, with a slide and large brass side handles, the base with five long drawers, on later bracket feet, H 189cm, W 106cm, D 53cm, together with the inner drawer section to the cabinet, now adapted as a low chest, with an arrangement of nine drawers and on bracket feet, H 81cm, W 97cm, D 44cm The owner recalls the interior of the cabinet being adapted to its current form in the 1970s.
An English blue glass casket, 19th Century, with brass mounts and scroll bracket feet, resting on balls, decorated in the style of Mary Gregory with children to the lid and swags to the sides, 14cm high x 14cm wide x 9cm deepCondition Report: The lid is loose from the top, some slight chips and losses to the edges of the uprights, hinge needs adjustment as it does not close fully flat, case slightly loose in base, polish residues to metal.
A French Restauration mahogany commode, 1820s, with a later white marble top above three flame veneered drawers and an apron drawer, on shaped bracket feet, H 81cm, W 112cm, D 47cmCondition Report: PLEASE NOTE, this chest has a plinth drawer. The marble is marked with signs of use. Overall the piece has old marks, scratches and veneer chips in places. The right side has an old full length split. The flame veneered drawers are dry to their surface and they sit well but not perfectly. The backing to the drawer veneers is softwood and has moved/contracted. The top two drawers run well the lower drawer less so. The top drawer is missing its lock. There is no key.

The Pagoda top with single brass handle over a 6.5 inch dial and two further subsidiary dials, strike/silent and quarters dial, enclosing a two train, chain driven movement with hammer striking on a single bell. 46cm high. (winding key and case key)Condition Report: This clock is mostly in good order, and potentially has had restoration work to it.There are age related splits to the case, around the sound arches, and general wear to the high points.Dial in good condition. verge escapement.Later pendulum/not a bob.Loss of veneers to feet.Chime report work.
A late 18th century ebonised chiming bracket clock by Whitehurst Derby. The Pagoda top with single brass handle over a 6.5inch silvered chapter ring embellished with gilt brass spandrels, enclosing a single train fusee movement with pull repeat mechanism and two hammers striking on a single bell. 45cm high.Condition Report: There is a crack to the top moulding, potential repair to the top front moulding, deep abrasion to the door moulding, crack to door, other light domestic wear to case.Repeat mechanism works. Main train not tested.Movement probably is not original, images on line. Movement is neither verge or anchor. We would recommend that a restorer look at the movement to assess the cost of any repairs/restoration.No serial number to movement.

Heavy Hand Painted Cast Metal Sign with Prominent Coloured Emblem of The York & Lancaster Regiment, comprising a title scroll, a tiger and a union rose within a laurel wreath, all surmounted by a royal coronet. Metal bracket affixed to rear of sign, approximately 118 x 74cm, also metal numbers 65 and 84, representing the Regiments of Foot that were amalgamated to create the York & Lancaster Regiment. DAVID COLLIER, GATLEY; a George III oak eight-day longcase clock, with gold painted pediment dated 1765, above a 12.5 inch brass dial set with Roman numerals, moon phase and date apertures, cherubic spandrels above crossbanded door flanked by burr walnut quart pilasters, to stepped plinth and bracket feet, height 211cm.Condition Report: - We cannot confirm accurate timekeeping or full working order, however, with the weights and pendulum attached, it is ticking away quite happily at the moment.
