The eight day movement supported by an arched moonphase dial inscribed Robert Douglas, Bolton, the spandrels painted with courting couples, and a subsidiary seconds dial, flanked with painted floral sprays and birds, the broken pediment over fluted columns and an inlaid case, the Gothic arched door flanked by cluster columns, the base inlaid with fan decorated spandrels, on ogee bracket feet, dial 35cm diameter, 240cm high
