A Georgian style mahogany bureau bookcase, the pediment with dentil moulding, above two astragal glazed doors enclosing two glass shelves, fall flap opening to reveal a central door flanket by drawers and recesses, over four long, graduated drawers, raised on bracket feet, 73.5cm x 47cm x 197cm.
A very fine quality George III period inlaid mahogany Writing Bureau, the figured and crossbanded slope front opening to reveal an attractive fitted interior, with small centre inlaid door decorated with oval plumage, and with secret drawers etc., over a long frieze drawer two short drawers and two furhter long drawers, all with brass drop handles, on bracket feet, 99cms (3'3")wide. An unusual profusely carved 19th Century Oriental hardwood Table Shrine, the five panel graduating pierced back decorated with typical designs and a carved rail, on a stand with large centre drawer flanked by two smaller drawers either side, on bracket feet, 76cms (30") wide; 89cms (35") high. (1)
A good pair of early 19th Century Boulle Side Cabinets, the decorated frieze with enclosed drawer over a single glazed door, with blue velvet interior, on a plinth base with bracket type feet, the entire mounted with fine ormolu masks, scrolls and other decorations, 117cms (46") high, 96cms (38") wide. An early 19thC Bracket Clock by Reid and Auld, Edinburgh, the arched mahogany case with brass fabric-backed fretwork panels above and below the dial, and brass fish scale fabric-backed arched grilles on each side, surmounted by a brass handle, the painted dial with Roman numerals and signed 'Reid and Auld, Edinburgh', fitted with an eight day twin fusee movement, striking on a bell, on brass bracket feet, 19½in (49.5cm) high to top of brass handle.
