A Mid 19th Century inlaid mahogany and rosewood crossbanded longcase clock With a 35cm brass arched dial signed in the arch John Fisher, Preston with subsidiary seconds dial, the centre engraved with leaves, mask and leafy spandrels, the lunar calendar with a figure walking along a pathway, the two train eight day movement with anchor escapement, rack striking on a bell, the case with a swan neck cresting, applied brass ornament, baluster columns, the trunk with a shaped inlaid door flanked by baluster columns raised upon a plinth base inlaid with rosewood crossbanding, shaped apron and bracket feet, with two weights pendulum and a key, approx. 234cms.
