A pair of Victorian Coalport style vases, each painted with a still life of flowers in basket on ledge, with blue ground and heightened with gilding. Height 10 ins (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Both vases are in generally very good condition. One has not had any restoration. The only minor issue is a very small chip to the base to the left of the centre shell. This goes through the gilding to the porcelain underneath. This really is a minor issue. The second vase has had a small professional restoration to the top scroll of the left hand handle. The restoration is good but the porcelain is slightly soft in this area. The gilding to both vases is strong and the problems very minor.
