A 1964 Triumph TRW, registration number 961 KAC, frame number 28984NA, silver. Ex Royal Signals White Helmet Display Team. The TRW was developed in the immediate post war WWII years to fulfil the demands of the British Military Contracts for a no nonsense and robust work horse motorcycle. They followed traditional lines with a side valve parallel twin 500cc displacement engine, telescopic front forks and rigid frame. Many were subsequently offered to the general public at the end of their service life. This particular TRW was supplied on loan by Triumph to the world famous Royal Signals White Helmet Display Team. The vendor advises us that the Triumph received a new works replacement engine when the bike was returned for service after the first season. It still retains this engine today and carries the original engine number. He further advises us that the motorcycle is presented in good older restored condition. The Triumph will be offered for auction with a copy of the works record confirming its White Helmet Display Team status, photographs of the bike in action, an original white helmet and miscellaneous items. Coming direct from the serviceman, who rode this bike in period, it offers the next custodian an opportunity to own a piece of motorcycle history. V5C, MOT to April 2018, tax exempt See illustrations
A circa 1938 Levis SP5, unregistered, engine number HT491 32078, black. During their short production life (1911-1940) the Levis company gained an enviable reputation for quality and performance. They had significant successes during the 1920s in the Isle of Man TT races taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the 1920 Junior TT amongst other noteworthy successes. From a deceased estate this late 1930s example has been restored to a great extent but still requires final fettling including the fitting of a headlamp and painting of the petrol tank. Unfortunately there is no accompanying paperwork except an owner's handbook and so any prospective purchaser will have to apply for a new registration document from DVLA. No accompanying paperwork See illustration
