A Barr, Flight & Barr Worcester Porcelain Urn Shaped Vase, circa 1810, with dolphin handles and flared neck, painted with a still life of shells on a marble plinth in a panel on a pale blue marbled ground within gilt scroll, geometric and line borders, on a square base, script and impressed marks, 22.5cm high Chip to side of foot. Some minor wear to gilding, particularly on handles and angles. One tail on one handle restuck (not restored) 101114
Thomas Wilkinson Wallis (1822-1903): A Carved Limewood Still Life, dated 1866, carved as a Wagtail and a fly suspended on a fence backboard hung with ivy, signed T.W.WALLIS LOUTH 1866, 56cm by 33cm, in a glazed fruitwood display case, together with A Framed History of the Artist, containing reproductions of this frontispiece of Wallis`s autobiography, including an illustration of the present lot and also photocopies from a Country Life article, June 5th 1958 showing the self-portrait at the Wilberforce House, Hull where he also appears to be holding the present lot Thomas Wilkinson Wallis served his apprenticeship as a wood carver in Hull before establishing his own business in Louth in 1843 specialising in the carving of trophies of game and other birds in lime. His work can be found in Louth Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum Section of ivy to bottom right hand side with breaks. Case with some typical minor chips and splits. 281014

Nicky Philipps Meerkats signed, oil, 22in x 17in Nicky Philipps is best known for her contemporary portraits, having famously painted the first double portrait of HRH Princes William and Harry in 2010 followed by a commission to pain Her Majesty The Queen in 2012. * ARCHIE SUTTER WATT RSW, (SCOTTISH 1915 - 2005), KIRKGUNZEON watercolour on paper, signed and dated `90 36cm x 51cm (14 x 20 inches) Mounted, framed and under glass Note: Archie Sutter Watt RSW was one of Dumfries & Galloway`s best loved artists, known to many for his Galloway landscapes and still-life paintings. He lived and worked in his studio in Kirkgunzeon near Dalbeattie for over 55 years, before his death in 2005, at the age of 90.
