The double velum leaf is completely plain to the verso, the recto with a colourful scene of a couple with a small child, the lady clutching the man's arm, seemingly worried that the lady and older man standing in front of them is going to take their child. The scene is bordered with still life and other classical designs. Guard length 25cm; and An Early 18th Century Ivory Fan, with slender sticks, the monture plain save for mother-of-pearl thumb guards. The double paper leaf is classically painted with two ladies in flowing robes and a small boy, within strong blue and red borders. The verso is painted with fruit and leaves. Guard length 27cm (2). Fan 1 - The leaf is quite dry and rubbed in places, from the verso it can be seen that most folds are supported. Fan 2 - Slight loss to the upper thumb guard. Leaf completely split on two folds, the worst being centrally where there is side damage, and some other losses to other areas, consequently hard to determine who the figures might represent.
