Allegedly by Antonio Maria Vassallo (Genoa, 1620-Milanoi, 1672). Still life with monkey and fruit. 40x33, oil paint on canvas. Significant art piece by the Genoese painter from the seventeenth century. In this remarkable period is the influence of the Flemish painters working in Genoa, in fact Vassallo was apprenticed at Vincent Malo from which he could derive knowledge about Rubens and David Teniers. He was appreciated creator of still lifes and genre scenes, in constant dialogue with the Flemish models. In this painting, everything is clear.
A pair of modern still life studies, each signed 'Szabo' lower left, oils on board, 12 by 17cm, framed, 24 by 29cm, together with a modern Dutch style still life, depicting a silver teapot, candlestick, teacup, spoon, and a partially peeled orange, all sitting on a ledge, signed 'Bubarnik' lower right, oil on board, 38.5 by 28.5cm, gilt framed, 58.5 by 49cm.
