An early 20th century violin with 36cm two piece back (measurement lacking button) the back of the scroll stamed 'Conservatory violin Straduari', label to interior reads 'Antonius Stradivarius cremonensis faciebat cremona 1721', with ivory inlay to the top of the finger board, with two bows and case (at fault) CONDITION REPORT: Trevanion & Dean does not ship items containing ivory or tortoiseshell outside the EU. The government have proposed legislation to create a UK law to ban the sale of all ivory which sources suggest will come into effect in June 2019. Please note this means that this lot is legal to sell now but may not be in the future.
