GERMAN HEER FALLSCHIRMJAGER BADGE BY JUNCKER Absolutely pristine, gorgeous German Heer Fallshirmjager Badge in its original presentation case. This first version of the Type 2 C. E. Juncker badge is constructed of a cast aluminum silvered eagle with a gilded aluminum wreath, the eagle fixed to the badge with two rivets. It bears a barrel hinge and the proper 'C' type catch. This was the first production of the Type 2 made completely of aluminum by its only known maker. Instituted in 1937, the aluminum version was discontinued that same year. This badge was completely discontinued when the Heer fallschirmjager troops were absorbed/replaced by their Luftwaffe counterparts. The finish to the front of the badge is 98% intact, and any defects are virtually indistinguishable to the naked eye. The badge is sold complete with the original presentation case with gold embossed name of the award, its push-button release and hinge fully intact and operational. 54mm tall, 41mm wide. This example, likely unrivaled on the market, was originally sold to our consignor in 2008 by Wolfe-Hardin and a copy of Stephen Wolfe's letter sent with the badge to the purchaser is included. An exquisite - and very rare badge, in top condition.

WEHRMACHT GENERAL’S VISOR CAP A rare German Heer general’s visor cap. The green wool cap has a darker green side band, and is piped in gold braided wire perfectly joined at the rear of the cap. At center, the cap has a gilt wreath of oak leaves surrounding the national tri-color cockade. The peak of the cap bears a gilded German national eagle. A gilt cord chinstrap is also affixed over the black leather visor, held by a gilt button on either side. A tan sweatband lines the interior, marked 'Erel Stirnschutz'. The fully intact celluloid diamond-shaped sweat shield also bears the maker’s brand. 'Erel' was and still is one of the highest quality brands available. This cap is in near perfect condition.

GERMAN STOPWATCH Operable stopwatch, 2 in. dia., given as an award in 1936. The verso bears an inscription, reading: ‘Team award model comparison flying. Spring 1936. Air sports group 2’ No other markings. There is a metal clasp attached to the start/stop button at the top. The chrome finish has begun to wear away in some places, mainly on the verso. A few minor spots of soiling on the face. Overall, very good.

IRON CROSS SOUVENIR BRACELET World War I souvenir bracelet based on a bronze band which once encircled an artillery shell, 2.75 in, wide with push-button catch release and a hinge opposite, one side bearing laurel leaves flanking a high-quality enameled 1914 Iron Cross. Safety chain is lost, else very good.

U.S. FIRST ARMY ARTILLERYMAN'S WOOL TUNIC World War I U.S. 1st Army artilleryman's green wool tunic, five flat black-painted brass front buttons with U.S. Army eagle insignia, maker-marked. An additional hook and loop beneath the lowest button. Four patch pockets, the flaps secured with matching buttons. Unvented in the rear. Embroidered U.S. First Army shoulder patch affixed to the left shoulder. Tunic is lined and partially quilted. Made by Kum, Nathan & Fischer, Chicago according to a pocket label. Very good condition.

FIELD JACKET Rare U.S. Marine Corps field jacket, olive drab cotton twill, five black-painted brass front buttons with USMC emblem, cloth shoulder straps, and patch pockets on the left and right breasts all of which are also secured with similar painted brass buttons. All buttons, flat type, are attached with nickle button springs. Collar is secured with two sets of collar hooks. Unlined, marked within with the owner's name 'J. R. DONNELL'. Clean, undamaged condition.
