A square silvered dial with luminous Arabic numerals and hands, dial marked 'Chronometre Ermeto'. A hand engraved presentation message to the case back 'J.J. Sheridan, Shanghai 9th April 1932'. One button looks slightly more used that the others (the raised pattern is more worn) The box is original and in overall good condition with some scuffs to the corners and edges.
A 19th century inlaid mahogany sideboard, converted from a square piano, the banded rectangular top above a long central drawer, with fall front opening by button release, the drawer front inlaid with manufactures details, "C Ganer, Grand and Small Piano Manufacturers Broad Street, Golden Square, London", with two smaller crossbanded drawers each side, raised on a ebonised strung square section tapering front supports linked by a shaped under tier. 75 cm x 158.5 cm x 54 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Converted, marks, scratches, minor veneer depletions, edge knocks etc. Fading etc.

CONDITION REPORT: One timepiece has a chip to top left hand corner of enamelled dial and a chip to the top left hand corner or the glazed rear door. Another timepiece has a hairline crack running diagonally across the dial. The third appears to be in good overall condition. The clock with alarm has two very small chips to the plaster face and some scuffing to the metal case. The repeat button is also slightly loose.
