A CONTINENTAL SILVER COMPACT AND LIPSTICK CASE in the form of a miniature dressing mirror 13cm in length, a miniature silver trophy cup, two silver handled button hooks, a silver topped corkscrew, a miniature sterling silver candelabra and further items These items are from the collection of the noted violinist Suzanne Rozsa-Lovett (1923-1995). Winner of the Kreisler Prize and the Gold Medal of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Mrs Rozsa-Lovett was a soloist, chamber and orchestral player, notably with the London Polish Quartet, The Dumka Trio and the English Chamber Orchestra. She was also a Professor at the Guildhall and wife of the cellist of the Amadeus Quartet, Martin Lovett.

Rosewood generally good and complete with some minor scuffs and handling wear. Buttons worn but otherwise good. Case with age wear.

A collection of various Victorian ivory and bone-handled dressing table wares, boot pulls, glove stretchers, brushes, etc, a box of various manicure sets, beadwork decorated pin cushion, jewellery boxes, etc CONDITION REPORTS All items have general wear and tear, knocks, splits, scuffs, scrapes, etc, to include some chipping and splitting especially to one of the boxes which has a large split to it's lid and the smaller of the hand mirrors which has a large split to the top edge. The handle to the button hook has sheared off from the button hook itself. There are lots of bristles mising from the brushes. See images for more details.
