A fine quality Victorian carved walnut three piece drawing room suite, comprising a double ended button back settee and a gentleman’s armchair, both with open padded arms, and a lady’s nursing/sewing chair, each piece raised on short cabriole legs with scroll toes, with recent high quality re-upholstery. Royal Naval Captains Full Dress Cap, Epaulettes and Undress Sword Belt, the set is all housed in the original japanned metal storage tin with painted details of the original owner to the lid, “A.B. WEBB RN”. The cocked hat of beaver skin covered body with fine gilt bullion wire decoration and single gilt RN button, each end with bullion wire tassels. Interior of the cap is in mint condition, retaining the original white leather sweatband and silk lining with J Baker & Co, Portsmouth retailers details. Bullion officers dress epaulettes with single bullion kings crown (Anchors missing) and wire tassels. Mint condition leather backed officers undress sword belt with three rows of bullion wire decoration, gilt metal kings crown belt buckle which retains all of the original gilt wash finish and the two piece sword hangers. Lining to the inside of the transit box is in excellent condition as is the exterior of the tin, showing just very minor scrapes from storage. The set appears to have been hardly ever worn.

Mess Tunics and Foreign Service Tunics of Lieutenant Colonel A T Rowlandson 124th and 126th Baluchistan Infantry, short pattern mess dress tunic is French Grey / beige cloth with red facings to the collar and cuffs. Small brass ball buttons to the front and clips. Bullion officers knotted shoulder boards with bullion rank pips and crowns. Brass buttons to the shoulder straps with 124th Baluchistan Infantry. Loops to the breast for medal ribbons. Quilted lining to the interior with London Tailors label to the collar with inked name. Complete with the mess waistcoat. Similar example but with button for the 126th Baluchistan infantry, also with the mess waistcoat; Private purchase four pocket service dress tunic in fine cloth with stitched holes for tunic buttons and rank insignia to the shoulders and issue KD officers four pocket tunic with polished brass buttons of the 126th Baluchistan infantry and metal shoulder titles and rank badges to the shoulders. The mess uniforms suffer heavy from moth damage and shredding to the silk sections of the waistcoats, also some stitching faults to the bullion. (6 items) Lieutenant Colonel Alfred Turner Rowlandson Baluchistan Infantry, Indian Army. Born in January 1867, Madras India, educated at the Royal Military College Sandhurst. Commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Kings Own August 1886, transferred to the Indian Staff Corps February 1891; promoted Captain Indian Army August 1897, he served with the 26th Baluchistan Infantry during the Third China War and with the 24th Baluchistan Infantry during the Tibet Expedition. Promoted to Major 25th August 1904, appointed commandant Mounted Infantry School, India on 5th December 1905, Commandant 126th Baluchistan Infantry and promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in 1911. He died in Kowloon on 19th July 1913 and is buried in Hong Kong. His China and Tibet medals were sold at Spink on 24th July 2014.
US Navy G-1 Aviators Flying Jacket brown leather flying jacket with brown wool collar, two lower pockets with button flaps. Woollen cuffs and bottom waist band. Brass zip in working order. Original worn size 42 label to the interior. Some scuffing to the leather on the reverse and shoulder area. Measures 40 inch chest, shoulder to cuff 23 ½ inches and shoulder to shoulder 17 inches.
Pair of Waffen SS Other Ranks Shoulder Boards, black cloth slip on shoulder boards piped with copper brown. Green cloth backing to the board with black stitching to the edge and button holes. Black cloth lining to the slip on tab. Some small area of damage to the piping on one of the boards but otherwise good condition.
WW2 Polish 2nd Corps HQ Tropical Shirt, fine example of a tropical issue shirt / tunic with two breast pockets and half button front. To the arms are slip on cloth panels with bullion embroidered POLAND nationality shoulder titles and one with bullion 2nd Corps HQ formation sign and the other with bullion 8th army. Slip on single rank bars to the shoulder straps. Stamped CWS 1942 to the collar. These were worn during the campaign in Italy by Polish troops, Polish 2nd Corps was involved in the fight for Monte Cassino.
