The green coat measures approximately across the back, under arm to under arm 49 cm and shoulder to shoulder 43 cm. From top of collar to base approx 48 cm and length of arm from top of shoulder to cuff is 64 cm. Has heavy wear, various repairs throughout. Missing one button to one cuff, heavy wear and tear conducive with age and use.
A collection of assorted Firmin & Sons buttons to include crest of Dr Barton, Savile-Onley, both on Firmin & Son Limited cards, etc CONDITION REPORTS All have patination, oxidisation. One button comes off the Dr Barton card. Cards themselves have wear and tear, surface scratches, rips etc as well as fading and discolouration. A bag containing five various knives, two Puma knives, one with antler handle and leather case, two penknives, one with ivory handle and a further knife with leather sheath (5) CONDITION REPORTS The two smaller knives only - the ivory handled one measuress approx 9 cm total closed and the brass and steel one measures approx 8.3 cm closed. Ivory handled example - one blade has broken. There are knocks and splits to the handle as well as pitting etc to the metal work. The smaller blade which is evident is nicked and appears to have been shortened. General wear and tear conducive with age and use - see images for further details. The steel one is inscribed "Lloyd-Velox Patent ANGEM" to side, has areas of rusting, pitting and verdigris. Opens with difficulty moving the brass button. Blades have been blunted through use. 3rd Bavarian Infantry Regiment 1910 Enlisted Mans Battle Damaged Field Grey Tunic, nap of cloth weak in places, all original Bavarian buttons. One large moth hole to the right hand sleeve and moth above the rear belt support ramp also under the armpit. Standard configuration with Brandenburg cuffs. Fitted with 1915 shoulder boards. Faint markings of ‘B.A.1 1914’ to the interior plus manufacturer’s stamp, size stamps etc. One sleeve has a battle field repair and one button shows clear evidence of being struck by a bullet or shell splinter. Profusely illustrated with a huge amount of text on page 116 and 117 of Feldzug 14.
Imperial German Fighting Knife, overall length 28cms. Excellent blade non maker marked, slightly tipped with its unusual wood grip, which again is in good condition in its original scabbard with 60% of the original black paint finish remaining with the belt loop being in paper cloth and the hilt retaining strap in leather with the retaining male/female button working correct.

Excellent blade not re-profiled, marked ‘Omega Solingen’, excellent wood grips which are totally undamaged, in its original scabbard which retains 50% of black finish, belt loop and hilt retaining strap supple with the hilt closing button fully operational.

Absolutely superb blade with all cross grain finish, all steel crossguard, which is company stamped ‘2.K.21’, wood grips excellent in its original steel scabbard with virtually all paint intact, supple leather belt loop with hilt retaining strap having fully operational closing button.
