A leather cased A. Girardeau Paris French silver gilt travelling set, comprising bevelled edge mirror with easel back, shoe horn, button hook and glove stretchers, all contained in the lid. The lower half of the case houses 11 cut glass silver gilt mounted bottles, three brushes, seven variously sized silver gilt containers, cup and hand mirror, sprayer top etc, most with applied monogram. The case comes in protective cover (width of case 54cm). Approximately 28 pieces in total
A 19thC coromandel or similar vanity/jewellery box, the interior fitted with various glass bottles with engraved lids. The mirror back hinges forward to reveal stationery pockets in the lid, the fitted bottom drawer is released by pressing a button revealing a fitted silk lined interior to suit jewellery. The lock and hinges with scrolling decoration and vacant inlaid brass plaque (W30.5cm)
