A Victorian carved mahogany framed conversation seat, the four seats with button backs set on scroll carved legs with white ceramic castors, 148cm wide, 92cm highchip and loss to leaf carved crest, rubbed wear to part of carved scrollwork, upper section removable. some joint movement / cracking, two casters replaced. velvet has inconsistently faded and with pressure marks, buttons with dark residue around edges. Part of trim detached. Scuffs and light scratches to frame commensurate with age and use

Movement running at time of report. Chrono working. General surface scratches to case, date changes when wound, second hand ticks when button is pushed, and jumps back to 12 on the second push, new replacement strap.

Please note that any individual movement parts may be replacements from originals due to any repair or restoration.CONDITION REPORTThe bloodstone clock; Movement winds, but after a while stops. The right hand side panel is cracked, dial is out of alignment and requires repositioning, it looks to be depressed inwards along the top and down the side to 4.30. The most extreme point of depression is at 1.30, dial finish is in good condition, silver rather tarnished, hallmark is clearJaeger alarm clock; Winding button may be replaced, clock will wind, alarm setting will work, but is very stiff, hand setting is ok, alarm function is not working as it should and works erratically, the hinge door is in good condition, the red metallic finish is in good condition, gilt lacquer finish is a bit worn to the underside and top rim, case door back has remains of sticky label, dial a bit tarnished in places, size across the top 6cm, height 5cm. The outer case is lacking top section, strained and damaged badly at one end as a result of people wrongly trying to open it at that end
