Two 19th Century Constabulary Sidearms (possibly to Peterborough Police), with 61cm and 62cm single edge fullered steel blades, each double edged for the last 21.5cm, etched with anthemion and maker's name Parker Field & Sons, 233 Holborn, London, the brass stirrup hilt with ribbed fishskin grip, push-button release and stepped oval pommel, with brass mounted leather scabbard and frog, 75.5cm and 77.5cm; Militaria, comprising a German Third Reich miniature parade dagger and scabbard; a pair of Second World War binoculars; an 'Enbeco' pocket compass in leather case; a Cabinet Card of Lord Charles Beresford and a printed portrait of Sir Herbert Macpherson (7). Sidearms have minor black patching to the blades and scuffing to the leather scabbards. The miniature parade dagger has rust pitting to the ricasso of the blade and rust pitting to the scabbard. Binoculars have small internal spots to the lenses and wear to the enamel on the extremities.

A British 1879 Pattern Artillery Sawback Sword Bayonet, 65.5cm fullered blade stamped with bend test, various inspector's and War Department markings at the ricasso, lacks scabbard. . Push locking button to pommel is missing. Chequering on the leather grip scales is worn. Black patching and pitting to blade and hilt. Lacks scabbard.
A Victorian Tower 1857 Percussion Three Band Musket, .650 calibre, the 99cm steel barrel with hinged ladder rear sight, the lock plate marked with crown over V.R., 1857, TOWER, the walnut full stock with three steel barrel bands with sprung clips, brass fore-end tip, trigger guard and butt plate, with two sling swivels, leather sling and steel ramrod, 140cm, together with a socket bayonet with brass mounted leather scabbard, the frog button stamped 140. Action works, holds at full and half cock. Bruising to stock and butt plate. Piece of wood missing to the right side of the barrel tang behind the nipple. Bore is deeply pitted and the muzzle is rather uneven. Later covered in a thick varnish.
An Imperial German 1921 Pattern Naval Dirk, with 23cm plain double edge steel blade, brass hilt with fouled anchor and push button to the crossguard, wire bound black plastic grip, flaming ball and wave pommel, the brass scabbard engraved with lightning bolts, the twin suspender rings with rope twist bands, with black velvet backed grosgrain hanging straps and gold bullion thread portapee, 37.5cm. Minor black patching to blade. Wear to gilt on hilt and scabbard which has three tiny dents to one side. The gilt metal mounts to the hanging straps have wear, one is lacking its clip at one end. Some fraying to portapee.

A Second World War Royal Marines Commando Knife, 2nd Pattern, with 16cm unmarked double edge steel blade with raised medial ridge to each side, the straight crossguard faintly stamped with a broad arrow over 56, with nickel plated diamond chequered brass grip and flat button pommel bearing traces of vice marks, 29cm, lacks scabbard Provenance:- The vendor's father was a Chief Petty Officer Master at Arms serving on various warships during the Second World War. He was responsible, amongst other things on board ship, for the discipline over naval ratings and marines. He acquired the knife at this time. . Rust pitting and black patching to blade. Wear to nickel plating of handle.
