A stylish Arts and Crafts style oak reclining armchair: shaped arms above vertical splats (the central splat pierced) with button-backed reclining Draylon upholstered back and the seat moving in a forward direction, shaped side rails and raised on typical Arts and Crafts style square tapering legs terminating in slightly outset square feet (70cm widest point to arms x 72cm deep x 93cm highest point to back)Has been recovered in brown Dralon. Overall condition reasonable although when reclining mechanism operated one of the rowels is damaged. Fairly sturdy with a little damage to front right-hand foot; some marks, knocks and scratches commensurate with age. Back looks OK with some wear to the back legs. Quite low, with a firm frame, joints appear sturdy, water damage to the arms.
