The Corniche we are offering is an American import which has been in France since late 2011. American customs make it a habit of keeping service histories but it is immediately apparent that this was a loved and cherished Rolls. The first thing you want to check on a Corniche is whether it sits level which it does. It hadn’t been started for the last 2 weeks when our specialist inspected it and it started on the button leaving no oil leaks on the floor whatsoever. The engine bay is impressively clean as are the underpinnings or boot floor. All the brightwork is unscathed and reflects sunbeams like it first did when leaving Crewe. The burgundy hide is in tremendous condition just like the wood and sundry chrome bezels scattered around the cabin. The white hood is also in a beautiful state and the motor was recently overhauled, it operates just fine. We drove it back from Paris to Moret in great comfort and refinement and without any issues.
