British Royal Navy Officers Full Dress Cap Set, consisting of officers full dress bicorn hat with bullion knotted cord leading to gilt kings crown button, ends with bullion work and black rosette. Interior with cloth lining and Gieves retailers details. Accompanied by the matching full dress epaulettes and a set of officers binoculars. All housed in the japanned storage tin named to “G W Alcock R.N”. The section which holds the officers dress belt does not appear to be able to be removed. Set generally in good overall condition.

A velvet, early1930s evening coat with pleated stand up collar and deco seaming, a 1930s devore jacket with interesting cold shoulder, split sleeves, a lace jacket and a black velvet bolero type jacket (4)coat is missing a button and foxing to the lining, devore has a couple seam separations but is generally strong and easily repaired, the silk lining to the cuffs is in poor condition, the bolero has a small hole above the wrist and some seam stress around the edges of the lining.

(3)The frock coat is in good condition, just needs a brush down.The gaiters are in great condition.The plus fours (or plus twos?) are in pretty good shape, there are a few little moth nibbles, bit no major damage.

Button mechanism in working order, cover is slightly stiff to open, but closes flush. Glass to interior in good order, no splits, cracks or losses. Fabric to powder is split and frayed in several places. Some minor splitting around the hinge, pin in slightly loose. Heavy scratching and wear to interior. Please see additional pictures.Compact pictured centre: Denting/wear to the corners. Moderate scratching and wear to exterior. No signs of splitting or repair. Button mechanism in working order, popping open and closing with a snap, though a slight gap is left around the cover and body. Some small cracks and losses around the edge of the mirror. Fabric to powder compartment is split and frayed in several places. Heavy scratching and wear to interior. Hinge in good order.
