ARCHIBALD DOUGLAS; a leather cased George IV hallmarked silver gilt travelling beaker and bottle, both pieces engraved with the initials 'WR', the beaker with lift-out velvet lined holder for the bottle, London 1828, and retailed by Parkins & Son, 29 St. James's St, height of beaker 9cm, the beaker approx 5.57ozt/173.37g.Condition Report: Please note, the lid of the bottle is not hallmarked although clearly is the original and matches, the hallmarks are very good indeed, retains the majority of the original gilding both internally and externally, hinge of the case works well, the push button has slightly shifted and caused a small tear to the lid but otherwise just general scuffs.
GEORGE IVORY; a large early Victorian hallmarked silver wooden based bottle coaster, with pierced shaped frame, London 1846, engraved with retailer 'Turners 58 & 59 New Bond St', diameter approx 15.5cm.Condition Report: The silver button to the centre of the wooden base has the correct maker's mark and shows an engraved crest of a lion holding aloft a star, tarnishing and toning throughout but of good gauge and overall condition is good.
