Phil Bennett: a red No.10 Wales v Canada Test Match shirt, 1973,long-sleeved, button-up collar & embroidered national emblem, inscribed beneath CANADA TOUR 1973, some colour fading to chest area. Wales toured Canada in 1973 and played half a dozen matches. This shirt was worn by Phil Bennett in the final fixture, the Test Match. Bennett held the world record for international points (210 pts.) and in 1976 scored a record equalling 38 points in the Five Nations Championship. He was awarded the OBE in 1978.

This shirt was gained as swap by Phil Bennett from Australia's G.C. Richardson after the match at Cardiff, 10th November 1973. Wales comprehensively defeated The Wallabies 24-0.
Gerald Bosch: a green South Africa No.17 international substitute's shirt, 1974, long-sleeved, button-up collar & embroidered national emblem. The fly-half Gerald Bosch is particularly remembered for his superb kicking abilities. He once struck six penalties in the Test v France in 1975, which still remains a jointly-held record in South African international rugby.

The RFU celebrated their centenary in 1971 by staging a match at Twickenham between England/Wales and Ireland/Scotland. Phil Bennett swapped his shirt with that of his team-mate, the England winger Keith Fielding. Fielding is an example of a two-code international cap. He appeared six times for England while playing Union for Moseley, before departing to Salford to continue a career in Rugby League.

A silver figure of a footballer, hallmarked Birmingham, 1910-11, modelled as a standing footballer dressed in period kit & holding a button-end football, set on a stepped plinth and square base, inscribed PRESENTED TO J.H. LOVE ESQ., BY THE OUTDOOR STAFF, DECEMBER 31ST 1910. J.H. Love was born at Oldham in 1876 and played for Rochdale, New Brighton & Trowbridge before becoming Fulham FC's first ever professional signing on the 12th December 1898, the day the club joined the ranks of the professional game. He later played for Liverpool but disappears from records shortly after.
