A 1964 Austin Mini 850, registration number 7648 NU, tartan red, this Mk1 Mini was owned by the previous owner for 20 years. The Mini was subject to a comprehensive restoration in 2010 including many new parts including inner and outer sills, door skins, front wing quarter panels, rear panel etc. and was re-sprayed in tartan red. The interior is mainly the original and trimmed in red vinyl with matching red carpets and the car still retains its original floor starter button. The vendor advises us that the Mini is great fun to drive gets plenty of attention and the distinctive registration number is transferable. In the 1855 Paris Exhibition he was awarded a Bronze medal. 28.04.17, Glass panels with some chips, case surfaces are slightly discoloured in parts, left hand side with one screw missing, dial with one small hairline crack positioned below the left hand side winding hole, small scratches in parts and minor chips around the right hand side winding hole, movement is dirty and needs cleaning, striking barrel mainspring appears to have broken and unable to wind, the going barrel mainspring is fully wound, alarm is working, the strike work is not working and needs attention.

A Diamond and Pearl Bar Brooch, a knife edge bar set with old cut diamonds in white milgrain settings with a button pearl and old cut diamond pendant drop suspended from two trace chains, total estimated diamond weight 2.10 carat approximately, measures 2.3cm by 4.5cm see illustration The brooch is in good condition. It is not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as white fronted gold. It fastens with a pin and c-hook with a stirrup clasp. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour G/H/I, clarity VS2/SI1/SI2. The button pearl measures 5.3cm in diameter approximately. Gross weight 4.8 grams. Condition Report made 27th April 2017.
