A German Third Reich Luftwaffe Officer`s Tunic, with four button front fastening, four pleated front pockets, small lapels, the flat lay-down collar with silver metal cord edge, rank collar badges embroidered in silver coloured metal thread with three eagles within a wreath on a yellow field, and with corresponding rank shoulder straps (General), the right breast is set with a Luftwaffe eagle, the left breast with three medal ribbon bar, the top button hole is threaded with an Iron Cross ribbon, with pebbled aluminium buttons, the sleeves with deep French cuffs and lined in fine grey striped weave, the main lining of grey satin type weave, with two inner pockets, one with original label UNIFORMFABRIK G.BLITZ KLEIN-UMSTADT, indistinctly inscribed Oberst Ma???? and O.B. 17376 1944 Collar has been well repaired in a line above each collar badge. There is a small amount of moth damage to the side of the right front pocket. Generally in good condition.
