A mid 20th century green leather upholstered button back sofa, on square legs137w x 75d x 76h cmCondition report: Overall it is solid and usable. The colour is very faded, as it looks to have been green to start with and has most likley been in the sun. There are quite a few stains across the surfaces also and the finish is dry. In my opinion cleaning and feeding the leather with vastly improve the overall appearance. Several of the buttons are not connected inside, so have risen up. This was collected from a local house in Suffolk.

AN IVORY FIGURE OF GUANYIN, LATE QING China, 19th century, late Qing dynasty (1644-1912). Finely carved as a seated Guanyin, one hand in bhumisparsha mudra and the other holding a flaming pearl. Her facial features are serene, her voluminous robe is finely carved, and her hair is minutely incised and inked. Behind her is a gilt-lacquered flaming aureole. The ivory is partially stained, and her belly button is inlaid with a small coral bead. Four-character cinnabar lacquer seal mark underneath. Condition: Very good condition. Some age cracks and wear to stained details. Surface scratched underneath. Provenance: Hungarian private collection. Weight: 414 g Dimensions: Height 17.5 cm

Dyer badly dented and misshapen, the medal heavily worn in general with numerous knocks, scratches, rubbing and build up of dirt. The Victory Medals also exhibiting rubbing to detail, further scratches, minor knocks, discolouration throughout. Losses to the enamel on the British Legion button.
