A 1820-25 paisley patterned cotton late Regency dress in a khaki coloured paisley print with a green and red pattern, hand made the high waisted dress in bodice comes down into a point, the long sleeves are double pleated off the dropped shoulder decorated in green braid work into long sleeves, button and hooks and eyes at the back of the dress. Both dresses have J.W initial onto tapes which could have been added later, found locally in the Derby area, dresses were handed down from generation to generation and often willed to relatives. A later Victorian dress 1840/50's in leopard print, the waist is much lower and comes into a point, braid work detail on the bodice - the bodice is boned and the back is fastened in hooks and eyes (wear and tear on parts of the dress)

A late 18th century Violin by Thomas Perry of Dublin, no.2551, the one-piece maple back and spruce top with boxwood and ebony stringing. Evidence of old restoration in areas, neck has been extended, retaining original pegbox and scroll, f-hole repairs to both sides of top, with internal studs and with replacement bridge and tuning pegs, original bridge and ebony button have also been retained. Top of back marked 'Perry Dublin', inside bearing label 'Attuned by William Hawes Northampton, December 1920.' Back measures 35.5cm/14", overall length 59cm/23.4"

19th century violin with internal label 'Antonius Pelizon Fecit Garitiae 1837', with three bows, in a wooden fitted case CONDITION REPORT Top right side of frame lifting and loose, split to soundboard, violin has side panel partially detached, back is becoming detached from sides, numerous splits to sides, some larger losses, possibly worm damage, particularly at foot, back board appears to be mostly ok, a dowel inset roughly centrally at the button, also worm hole (?) at button, small split towards foot. Front with two vertical splits on left side from s-scroll, another at top from edge. Elsewhere scratches and general wear, bridge missing, strings detached, early case with deterioration.
