A collection of four early 20th Century boxed mother of pearl dress buttons sets. The sets each include six mother of pearl set buttons, most in gold plated mounts including a set with round cut white stones and a set with blue mounted borders. All set within original fitted boxes, one box AF, one set missing a clip. Largest button measures 14mm diameter.

ATTRIBUTED TO STEIFF; an early pre-WWI golden mohair teddy bear with small rounded ears, black boot button eyes, horizontal stitched shield shaped nose on protruding snout, elongated arms and large thin elongated feet, lacking button in ear, length 32cm, distance between ears 8cm, length of arms 17cm, body 15cm, length of leg 14cm.Footnote: This bear has been in the vendor's family since new and was always known as the Steiff bear. CONDITION REPORT: This has been well played with, fur in better than expected condition for its age, pads on hands and virtually disintegrated exposing the wood wool filling, rest of the body appears to be better than expected for years of use, just needs some restoration, button from ear missing
An early 20th century Merrythought small blond bear with glass eyes, pad paws and embroidered nose, length 29cm and an early 20th century blond bear wearing a kilt and sporran, with glass eyes, embroidered nose and felt paws, length 49cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: The Merrythought bear is missing the button to the ear. Very playworn, most of the fur is missing. The kegs appear ok and have less missing fur than other areas. The little squeaker in the middle is not working. No major damage or splits to the body.The bear wearing a kilt is missing the majority of its fur. There are no major breaks, splits or tears to the body. The eyes are present and the embroidery to the paws is ok. The felt pad feet and hands have been replaced.
An early 20th century blond Merrythought teddy bear with Merrythought button in ear, length 34cm and an early 20th century German pale blue mohair bear with unusual paws and feet, length 37cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: Both are very playworn, with a lot of the mohair missing. There do not appear to be any splits or breaks. The Merrythought bear has two matching eyes, some of the embroidery from the nose is missing. The eyes of the pale blue bear do not match. There do not appear to be any splits or breaks in the fabric.
Six 20th century vintage telephones to include a bright yellow dial example no.8100RGNA81/1, a GPO example, black and red examples, a mushroom coloured push button telephone, etc (6). CONDITION REPORT: All have some age-related wear. The yellow phone is in good condition with side lif-up compartment for telephone number list. Most need cleaning, all appear intact.

A late 18th century small-bodied parlour guitar by Francois Roudhloff, with ebony neck and fretboard, spruce top with maple back and sides, the table with mother-of-pearl dart inlay around the sound hole and edges, solid headstock with rosewood tuning pegs, stamped F.Roudhloff inside, with additional label inscribed 'Repaired by Johanning & Ferry, 14 Titchborne St. Piccadilly', overall length 36.5in (93cm), with associated carrying case.Top (sound board) has some fine splits in the upper quarter and heavier splits between the sound hole, under the bridge to the bottom. Bridge has a horizontal split through the pins. Sides appear sound with no obvious splits but signs of cleaning/restoration. There are three small screw holes above the strap button. Back has surface scratches throughout. Neck good and straight. Fretboard and headstock appear good. Playable but needing new 4th string. Good volume, resonance and sustain.
A Japanese WWII officer's katana, unsigned, cast tsuba, shark skin grip, metal scabbard, length 101.5cm. Condition - cotton missing from handle, damage to grip/handle, push release button missing, gap between handle/tsuba and blade when drawn from scabbard, drill hole(?) to end of handle, ding to scabbard, blade not entirely blunted but not as sharp as it should be, blade with thick layer of oil.
