A cultured and seed pearl, chrysoberyl cat`s-eye and diamond single-strand necklace. Comprising 106 graduated cultured and seed pearls, to the circular chrysoberyl cats-eye cabochon and old-cut diamond cluster clasp. Estimated total diamond weight 0.55ct. Length 48.5cms. Overall condition good to fair. Re threading recommended. Cultured and seed pearls are a creamy-white colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Some surface blemishes, to include pits. Minor nacre damage to some. All pearls differ in shape and size. Some are off-round/oval/button shaped. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source. Diamonds individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. The chrysoberyl has light scratces. Clasp in working order.
