RAF', in original postage boxes and envelope with letter, and flask. S.O. Aileen Bowen Morris was the first WAAF to be commissioned as an Intelligence Officer during WWII in 'Y Station', the intelligence collection sites used during the war. She was a fluent German speaker and later authored a novel based on her experience 'The Enemy is Listening'. She was awarded and MBE in the New Year Honours list in 1942.Provenance through the family.
