Lot 498
An original WWII Second World War Lancaster Bomber ' Bomb Release Switch '. The button itself with Air Ministry markings, and various official stamps. Signed / autographed on the plug section in gold marker by last surviving Dambuster George Johnny Johnson. Johnson was Bomb Aimer on Lancaster Bomber AJ-T and attacked the Sorpe Dam as part of the Dam Buster raids. Along with a display base, also signed. Obtained in person by the vendor.

King's Improvement - Patented -March 29, 1866, October 1860' colour case hardened action and lever, fitted with blued sliding dust cover and carbine saddle ring, the figured chequered stock fitted with crescent butt plate and sliding brass trap, sling swivel, and tang rear sight, chequered forend with half length button magazine, fitted with sling swivel. Provenance: Purchased from Pete Holder Antique American Firearms Specialist in 2018. Section 58(2) Antique /obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence.

A Chinese white 2nd degree Taoist priests robe, circa 1900, embroidered in gold thread with a yellow lining, with Taoist symbols and three Imperial symbols of the sun, moon and 3 star constellation, the sleeves are couched with the eight trigrams, auspicious symbols are entwined with clouds around a central twinned dragons and stars,the front decorated with a blue badge of rank embroidered with a bird motif and long ties, billowing water and wave (lishui) pattern are interspersed with peony flowers and the clouds are laced with roundels of people in the heavenly gardens, 170cm cuff to cuff and 126cm neck to hem and a Chinese blue jacket, with an altered neckline, circa 1900, yellow embroidered sleeve bands and a pink satin border, 148cm cuff to cuff and 87cm neck to hem (2) 晚清民国 白地二品道袍及蓝地夹袄Condition Report: Taoist priests robe with faded and damaged along the shoulder line and some loose threads and other loses The jacket with torn silk to the right shoulder and faded areas to the silk and other tears to the silk around the button holes and neck Condition Report Disclaimer
