Etched Model 1871 German Mauser presentation bayonet & scabbard by Wellhausen of Hannover. All brass eagle head pommel, lacking locking lever/button, with grooved brass grip. Brass quillon & muzzle ring unmarked. 48.5cm blade has etchings to both sides, polished overall, with trophies of arms, floral designs, motto ‘Mitt Gott Für Kaiser’, imperial eagle etc. Maker stamped W. Wellhausen of Hannover. Retains brass & leather scabbard, free of any damage or issues. Good piece nicely etched

Prussian W issued & 1904 dated 52cm long quillback blade, very fine overall with maker stamp ERFURT with crown trademark. Fits into the metal scabbard without issues
WW1 German 98/05 S ‘sawback’ Pattern Bayonet, with Scabbard by V. C. Schilling dated 1911. Metal birds head pommel, with working release button, with good grooved wooden grips, with metal guard retaining ‘high ears’. Prussian W issued & 1911 dated swollen ‘butcher’ blade with very fine condition saw back edge, with maker stamp V. C. Schilling Suhl. Fits into the leather & metal scabbard. Very good condition overall, this being the type made famous in the novel ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’, where the Germans were warned not to be caught by the British with these otherwise they would face execution as a result.
WW2 German SS tropical ‘Sahariana’ uniform jacket. Light-weight tan cotton twill, featuring a vertical, four button front closure with small fold back lapels and a lay down collar, with tropical aluminium NCO’s braid. The field blouse has 2 breast pockets with the unique, scalloped tipped, button down flaps. Left breast pocket shows un-marked Iron Cross 1st Class & Wound Badge in black. The shoulder yoke covers both shoulders and runs down over the breast and back panels with scalloped tips to the bottom edges, with two standard bellows pockets to skirt. Upper left sleeve has a second pattern machine woven, tropical SS sleeve eagle, with opposite sleeve with rare SS mountaineers qualification patch, both machine stitched to sleeves. Comes with a pair of UnterscharführerTransport shoulder straps with tropical aluminium NCO’s braid. The reverse of the collar has the typical, zig-zag stitching. The collar retains rank collar and SS tabs. Interior of the field blouse has a field dressing pocket with OD waist ties present. Shoulder width 42cm, Arm Inseam 46cm and waist 96cm. Introduced in late 1941, these were issued to the Waffen SS for use in tropical climates.

Weyersburg of Solingen) marked 25.5cm long, unsharpened blade, with serial number 9212 stamped & dated 36 to blade spine. Partial blued finish to blade & metal scabbard with matching number & date 1936. A good early very good condition piece

Gilded brass scabbard retains both suspension rings, with hand beaten pebbled design. Retains lion head buckled black silken & velvet uniform hangers. A very fine example.

Brass spine, Mon having been removed, wire bound grip and guard. Working release button, brass habaki at base of 32cm long steel blade, showing very good hamon along both sides of blade edge, light wear to kissaki, but bright and well-presented blade. Scabbard is of steel construction, with single suspension ring.
Good gilt finish remains to much of the elaborate brass fittings, along the partial wire wrapped ray skin grip, showing wear and use, but good overall. Gilt opposing guard, with bright 23cm long blade in good condition with some wear/use. Blade fits nicely into the black wood and gilded brass fittings, with locking button (sometimes locking).
WW2 Japanese Army Officer’s Shin-Gunto sword & scabbard by Koketsu Kanetaka. Full field service laced grip cover over the fabric wound binding, with excellent ray skin grip base, triple gilded flower menuki and decorative pierced tsuba. Field grade Lieutenant tassel to pommel. Scabbard retaining working locking button. Tang shows stamps for Showa Period manufacture and smith details for Koketsu Kanetaka, resident of Seki in Noshu Provence. The 71 cm blade is in very fine condition, with full swirling hamon to edge. The brown scabbard is in very good condition & retains its full field service leather scabbard, with metal braced drag, with taped split and 13cm long stitching separation to cover. Very good condition overall. This sword was souvenired in Burma and donated post-war to the Army Association Club. Overall length: 99cm. Comes with research paperwork
