Warrant Officer Antoni Murkowski was credited with destroying an ME262 Jet Fighter on 9th April 1945 whilst piloting FB385, a MKIII Mustang of 309 Squadron. Murkowski was credited with a total of four aircraft kills and four V1 Rocket kills and damage to a further ME262. In the Summer of 1943 Murkowski had one confirmed kill and one damaged with 316 - City of Warsaw - Squadron, both FW190.He was awarded the DFC and Polish Medal of Valour. Of the names engraved to the inside of the case there are two further Aces, Klowe had seven confirmed kills and Pietrzak had nine.

Movement is currently functioning, date and chronograph mechanisms also operational, case and bracelet are rather dirty and show signs of general wear with light scratches, marks and tarnishing, although a case refurbishment should take care of the majority of the scratches, but there are some more obvious marks on the case side and bezel marks may be harder to remove, bracelet shows signs of stretching, glass, dial and hands all look to be in excellent condition.
