1968 Jensen Interceptor Transmission: automaticMileage:51000The Jensen Interceptor was launched in 1966, utilising an all steel bodyshell, breaking away from the company's traditional method of construction that used GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic). Designed by Carrozzeria Touring, the early cars were built by Vignale before production eventually was carried out at the Jensen works in West Bromwich. The imposing presence, power and distinctive shape that included the wrap around glass rear hatch drew the rich and famous to the marque attracting the attention of esteemed owners such as HRH Princess Anne, Sir Cliff Richard, actors John Thaw CBE and Tony Curtis, ex-heavyweight boxing champion, Sir Henry Cooper OBE KSG. Oh, and Eric Morecambe OBE once told Parky that his Jensen Interceptor 'brought him sunshine'. It has often been said and many would rightly argue that 1966-1976 Jensen Interceptors were, and remain, a realistic alternative to the Aston Martin V8 of the same period. This fabulous Jensen Interceptor was originally registered in 1968 and early in its life was shipped to South Africa where it resided for 32 years being repatriated to the UK in 2000. After searching for a good solid chassis our vendor purchased this car in 2006, he was impressed after shot blasting the chassis and panels to find the quality enabled him to keep the car completely original with no replacements necessary. The plan from our vendor, a mechanic by trade was to fully restore the car in his own time and thus this was seen as the best possible start point. Since that start point our vendor has spent over a decade fully nut and bolt restoring his Mk. I Interceptor at a cost that he would care not to calculate. The net result of this substantial investment in both money and time is a Jensen that presents in fabulous order throughout. The metallic grey paintwork is finished to a very high standard after the rotisserie treatment, as is the new black leather interior trim and new carpet set, given it has all original panels the shuts are very good indeed. Open the bonnet and the 6276cc engine is gleaming having been rebuilt starting on the button and purring upon inspection. After the engine was stripped and rebuilt an aluminium radiator with twin electric fans was added at great expense coupled to an upgraded water pump and a later oil pump and filter. Start the engine and the evocative sound of a powerful V8 cannot fail to impress and a delightful addition is the stainless steel exhaust which has a 'loud' button opening up the exhaust to really turn heads. We are informed that everything works on the car which was treated to a full new wiring loom apart for the clock, the owner jokes that time stood still when it required restoration and it is the only thing he hasn't ever attended to but its correct twice a day! The Dunlop brakes were fully rebuilt with new stainless steel pistons and we could of course go on, a real labour of love and as good underneath the car as it is on top.Supplied with a V5C registration document together with a very good history folder including the original build documents from 1968 and a fully photographic history of the restoration and its original wheels which are in need of refurbishment. The condition and quality of this outstanding Jensen must be seen to be fully appreciated.
1995 Mercedes-Benz S600 Coupé Transmission: automaticMileage:63208The Mercedes-Benz S-Class represented a classification officially introduced in 1972 with the W116. The S-Class has served as the flagship model for Mercedes for over fifty years in its various incarnations debuting many of the company's latest innovations including drive-train technologies, interior features and safety systems such as the first seatbelt pre-tensioners. The term stems from the German abbreviation 'S-Klasse', for 'Sonderklasse', meaning 'special class' and in automotive terms refers to 'a specially outfitted car'. In 1991, the W140 series replaced the W126 in the Mercedes-Benz line-up and saw the S-Class grow in its proportions; more technology and features were added due to product evolution and through competition. Innovations were introduced such as double-pane window glazing, self-closing boot lid/doors, electric windows with a jam-protection feature and a heating system which emitted warm air while residual energy was available after the engine was turned off.Originally registered on 3rd February 1995 this Mercedes-Benz presents very well in Brilliant Silver with contrasting grey and Anthracite interior. The car has formed part of a private collection in recent years, the vendor who is the third owner purchased this S600 coupé in 2011 and has covered approximately 5,000 miles throughout his stewardship. The car has been regularly serviced and MoT'd, the fastidious vendor ensuring this Mercedes-Benz was always available and on the button whenever he chose to use it. These are exceedingly well appointed cars, with electric memory seats, electric sunroof, double glazing, climate control, soft close doors and bootlid, walnut trim and AMG alloy wheels. Manufactured at a time when Mercedes-Benz had a reputation for over engineering their cars, this S600 coupé is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate valid until 4th October 2024 and a history file. This was the flagship of the range when new and had a retail price of over £110,000.Guide £7,000-£9,000.
2005 BAE Vantare Transmission: automaticMileage:35591The BAE Vantare is the brainchild of actor, television presenter, engineer and former professional footballer, Bradley Walsh. It is rumoured that Mr. Walsh drove a DB5 and wasn't too enamoured by the experience so set about creating a car with super stylish looks and modern day mechanicals. Hence the BAE Vantare was born.Based on a 2005 Aston Martin DB9 the car was stripped to the chassis and rebodied with the exquisite design named the Vantare. Clearly styling was a massive focus point on this project and it would appear the professional design and manufacturing team interpreted Mr Walsh's brief with enormous attention to detail. Often cars designed in low numbers can be disproportionate in their shape. This is not the case with the BAE Vantare. The curvaceous lines of this delightfully handsome car will ensure admiring glances from every angle. Under the bonnet is the well tried and tested 6.0 V12 powerplant of the DB9, ensuring performance, a sonorous sound track and power all in one package. We are informed state of the art materials were used in the make-up of this coachbuilt car including the bodywork in carbon fibre composites. LED lighting adorns the exterior and the metallic grey (Silver Birch esq) paintwork is in excellent order. Open the door and a host of buttons and knobs welcome the occupants. Drive is selected by push button and the re-designed dashboard incorporates a large display screen. The uniquely trimmed seats have been crafted very well as has the steering wheel, embossed with the Vantare logo.713 XUK was chassis number 001 of the project and was utilised as a publicity and press car. It is our understanding that the car was very well received and always generates enormous interest on the road. A very limited production run of the BAE Vantare was planned, all bespoke to customer order and indeed, it is understood that only three cars were manufactured, the last of which sold for £330,000. This is an unrepeatable opportunity to purchase the very first example of this stunning coachbuilt Grand Tourer.Photographs courtesy of TAZ BROTHERTON (www.tazbrophotography.com)Photograph of Bradley Walsh and the BAE Vantare reproduced by kind permission of Steve Camplin

Alexander Konstantinovich Bogomazov. Graphic portrait of a woman with a book. 1915 The cubo-futuristic composition shows a lady reading. Squinting her eyes, she carefully dug into the book, which she holds with her claw-hands. The entourage of clothes is well read. Wide semi-circular lines of the dress, a button on a la sailors collar. In addition to the pointed fox look of a pretty young lady, the artist adds character to her in wide cheekbones and lowered corners of a focused mouth. Indicates a high hairstyle-hat with feathers. Bangs and intense knowledge personifies the mirror reflection of the book in the ladys head. An open book with bangs of pages covers the head and forms a rhombus of the cornerstone of knowledge. The atmosphere is supplemented, apparently, by diffused light from behind the heroines back, where on the right at the bottom you can guess the corner of the locker, and above under the feathers, a fragment, possibly with a reduced projection, of a window from which light enters the interior. However, there is more observation of the random depth of character. In the lower right corner, the initials of the master and the date: AB, 1915 Kyiv. On the back, in blue pencil, is the signature of Bogmazovs widow Wanda: " I certify the work of AK Bogomazov: V. Bogomazov ". The inscription was made during the sale of works in 1979. Half cardboard, charcoal pencil. 66.5x52.3 cm. In addition to the examinations of the All-Russian Art Scientific and Restoration Center named after Academician I.E. Grabar for 2006 and the State Scientific and Restoration Institute of the same year, Smolnikovs handwritten letter is attached on the acquisition of 6 graphic works from the masters family. Width: 52.3cm, Height: 66.5cm, Depth: 0.3cm, Weight: 1kg, Condition: Good, Material: Pencil
Easel drawing by Alexander Konstantinovich Bogomazov. Triple portrait. 1916 It is a combination of three, multidirectional portraits, revealing the facets of the character of one person. The profile and face of a balding man in glasses, dressed in a suit, with a tie and a button on the lapel of his jacket, are clearly visible. The third silhouette combines both previous ones and is opposite to the profile. Represents radical materiality seen from the back of the head. If the profile drawing carries the plot of psychological characteristics, lifestyle; face - the inner, desired image of a tired lyricist; then the ball of a skull with an open mouth and prominent superciliary arches is rather an act of surprise, seen from the back of unfamiliar matter. And it acts as a frightening physical objectivity of a person. Although, in the heat of provocativeness, there is more methodological controversy with fellow workers; nevertheless, in a dispute in absentia with the Italian cubo-futurists, Bogomazov nevertheless clearly expands the tripartiteness to philosophical generalizations and a constructivist secret vision of matter. In the lower right corner (3rd portrait), 1916 Kyiv. On the back, in blue pencil, is the signature of Bogmazovs widow Wanda: " I certify the work of my husband AK Bogomazov: V. Bogomazov " . The inscription was made during the sale of works in 1979. Half cardboard, charcoal pencil. 66.6 x52.6 cm. In addition to the examinations of the All-Russian Artistic Research and Restoration Center named after academician I.E. Grabar for 2007 and the State Scientific and Restoration Institute of Restoration of the same year, Smolnikovs own handwritten letter about the acquisition of six graphic works from the masters family is attached . Width: 52.6cm, Height: 66.6cm, Depth: 0.3cm, Weight: 1kg, Condition: Good, Material: Pencil
