Louis Vuitton, an early 20th century gentleman Louis Vuitton, an early 20th century gentleman's tan colour pigskin dressing case, or necessaire de voyages, the green Morocco leather and watered silk interior fitted with seven assorted glass and silver plated topped bottles with monogrammed banding, a leather cased shaving stick, ebony handled brushes and a shoe horn, fitted compartments for pull-out mirror, comb and an ivory and steel manicure set including: a button hook, scissors, nail clippers, needle case and a rosewood corkscrew, the brass case clasps stamped `L.V`, the lock stamped `LOUIS VUITTON, PARIS and LONDON', the interior also stamped `LOUIS VUITTON, no. 561833, 13in (33cm) high, 20in (51cm) wide, 6in (15cm) deep, within original storm cover and with old luggage label, with a modern Louis Vuitton bag, . By repute, sold in 1914 in Belgium to a member of the vendor's family.

Lot 134 – the club fender.  The seats are in good condition with no tears or damage. The brass overall has tarnished and lost its shiny appearance to the front rail.  Could do with a polish.  But generally in good usable condition.  It is a relatively modern example. Internal measurements: 153.3cm wide, 38cm deep.

Some losses to brass stringing. The interior quite worn.  Overall not in the best of condition.  The base with a large crack visible to the underside
