REEL: A rare Marston Crossle ebonite and alloy trotting reel with brass back, rarely seen 3" size, twin black handles to ventilated faceplate stamped Crossle Patent, c1910, brass optional check button to ebonite backplate, internal calliper check spring and pawl, line guide removed, mahogany wood drum core, scare reel.
ACCESSORIES: A black japanned tackle box 10" x5" x4", double layer with asstd compartments containing a selection of early floats in cork on quill, wire ringed floats, early wrapped quill etc asstd hooks and traces, a wooden float and cast winder with central shot compartment, vintage floats, in fitted paper mache outer cover, a similar winder with floats and an early mahogany cased winder, 9" x2" with silver crest to hinged button release lid, turned wood rollers and one old float.
