An emotive WWI family group of medals comprising: 1914 star (_Ply 17602 Pte G A Honiatt, RM Brigade) GVF; Three: 1914-15 star trio (PS-2499 Pte R J Honiatt Middx R), VF; Pair: BWM, Victory (79119 Pte A R Honiatt, RAMC), VF/NEF, with RAMC cap badge, wound badge number 225868, 2 C.L.R.L bronze shooting medals: Aggregate 1929-30 A RC Honiatt and Final 1932-33 Division 12 London Chemists A R C Honiatt; and a WWI National Reserve Class II London gilt and enamel lapel badge by J R Gaunt, the right hand rifle butt impressed 13, the reverse button hole stud impressed "19812 Hampstead" EF. Note: Private George Archibald Honiatt, served with the RMLI, 2nd RM Battn RN Division and was killed in action 13th November 1916 aged 19, and is commemorated at Thiepval Memorial France; his brother Private Reginald Jack Honiatt served with the 16th Bn Middlesex Regt and was killed in action 29th April 1916 aged 23 and is buried at Forceville Communal Cemetery France. £200-300

Frodsham, Clockmaker to the Queen, 84, Strand, London, with a subsidiary alarm setting dial, the brass Gorge case having a five-bale handle, height 17.5cm handle up, 14.5cm handle down.

Antique, possibly 18th century, silver crucifix mounted on an Ebony cross with stepped base, with additional silver finial, INRI name plate, scull and cross bones (now detached) and applied button containing a miniature hand written version of the Lord's prayer. 43.5cm overall height.Provenance: To be sold by direction of Canonesses of the Holy Sepulchre, there is a suggestion that the present lot was a gift of Lady Goring (see also lot 265)Condition report: General overall condition quite good, silver mounts are good but tarnished and loose, skull is presently fixed with blue-tac, one hand of the figure is no longer fixed to the cross, right lower leg has cuts to the surface. Woodwork is in reasonable condition, some nicks and scratching to surface, base is damaged and not fixed to the cross.
Antique cultured pearl and diamond cluster ring with a central 5.5mm cultured button pearl surrounded by ten old cut diamonds in claw setting on 18ct gold shank, size P½.Good condition commensurate with age. The diamonds are all rose cut diamonds rather than old cut diamonds as stated in the description and measure approximately 2.5mm diameter. One stone is chipped/crudely cut. Not hallmarked but tests as approximately 18ct. Some of the claws have been re-tipped and some are worn/need attention. Gross weight approximately 3 grams.
Gentleman's 9ct gold full hunter pocket watch retailed by Jay's, Essex Road, London, with 25 jewel button-wind movement in 9ct gold Dennison case, Birmingham 1919, together with an Edwardian 9ct rose gold and white metal/platinum fetter link chain.Not currently running, fully wound but the balance wheel does spin if the watch is given a gentle shake.
