Citroen 2CV 1988 - This 1988 2 CV is consigned uder the description of a “Rolling Restoration”. It has no mot and is sold not fit for road use. Having said that, we drove it to our storage area a distance of some 10 miles and mechanically it is very good and drives better, according to our member of staff, than “any other 2CV he had driven!”. Engine pulls well and starts on the button, gearchange and clutch are good, it brakes in a straight line, all the electrics appear to work. Interior is useable as is but will need attention and cleaning. The roof material is split but apparently still water tight. Body work is sound but does have many marks scratches etc but no rot. Chassis will need attention to the rear rails and the hinge on the boot lid has rusted. These little bit of Galic Charm are getting very hard to find now in the price range this car reserve is set at, they are either fully restored and priced as such or completely past restoring. A rare oportunity to have one you can do the bare minimum to and use while you improve it.
