An original black velvet choker necklace that was owned and worn by Mary Hopkin. It has a button closure and decorative gold and silver beading. The choker measures 35cm (13.7 inches) in length. There is some wear to the decorative stitching with missing threads. The condition is very good. Provenance: the necklace was previously sold as part of lot 245 in the October 2019 Omega Auctions sale. The lot included original clothing and accessories owned and worn by Mary Hopkin which were consigned directly by Mary to the auction.
