A World War One / World War Two Era model 1886 French white metal handled Epee Lebel Bayonet with Hook Quillon & Scabbard. This was the Bayonet & Scabbard for the Lebel Rifle. The handle is stamped with regimental mark '3p 71'. The hook quillon is stamped 'M 91553'. It's sprung muzzle ring catch with knurled button works perfectly. It has a white metal handle. The pommel end of the handle is marked '27' and '9', it has a 52 cm 'cruciform' blade. It's steel scabbard with fixed belt bar is in good condition. Estimate £20 - £30
Military Uniform - A German Third Reich Waffen SS field - grey tunic with five button front, satin lining marked 45 100 70 S43, pleated pockets with scalloped flaps and buttons, split cuffs each with two button fastening with internal pocket (First Aid dressing pocket) and four internal button holed tabs. The tunic bears badges shown on illustrated pictures comprising SS Sigrunen collar patch, arm with Bevo SS sleeve eagle and other. A pair of Waffen SS field - grey wool uniform trousers, with a four-plus-two button fly closure, angled slash pockets with button, a horizontal slash watch pocket with flap and button and a single seat pocket with button closure. Four suspended buttons are located inside the waistband, which is stamped 74 110, with sewn-in webbing tabs to the front and back with button closure. An S98/05 German bayonet made circa 1915 by O Dietrich Altenburg. The bayonet has nine groove wood grips secured with two screw bolts. The steel pommel has a push release button which operates smoothly. The grip has a steel flash guard fitted. The polished steel blade is stamped with 'O Dietrich Altenburg'.
