From the Ferdinand Otto Miksche collection.Late 1930s Spanish Civil War cap worn by Lieutenant Colonel Ferdinand Otto Miksche. Khaki cloth, thread red star, brass button and tassel. He was sent as part of a Czech convoy to Spain during the Civil War, and served as a major in the artillery unit.Ferdinand Otto Miksche was a Lt Colonel in the French Amy and the holder of the French Legion D'honneur. Born in Austria he became and Officer in the Czech Army and in 1945 the Czech Military attache in Paris. He spent time in England with De Gaulle at the time of establishing the Free French Forces. He returned to France with De Gaulle and became a French citizen and the Lt Colonel on the Foreign Legion. Miksche spent 8 years in Portugal in the 1950s and received their highest honour (Order of the Portuguese Empire) for his work teaching in the Military academy in Caxias. In later years he was a frequent guest on German TV and became a liason attache to Strauss and the Bavarian Government.

A WWII Second World War US United States M1-E Garand Rifle bayonet. The bayonet having a hooked pommel and ribbed black synthetic plastic grip secured to the tang with a screw. The cross guard with muzzle ring and catch mechanism, manipulated with a button under the cross guard. The blade being a cut down Springfield, dated 1916 to the ricasso along with markers mark for Fork & Hoe. Housed within original scabbard. Measures approx. 40cm.

A George V Gold Pencil-Holder, by Sampson Mordan and Co., London, 1922, 9ct, cylindrical, the button at the top releases and locks the pencil in place, engraved with an inscription dated 20th Sept 1924, in fitted case, the case 11.5cm longThe pencil holder marked on side. Further stamped 'Mordan & Co'. There is some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The pencil is fixed into the holder so it has not been possible to weigh the holder alone. The total gross weight is 28.6gr. The case with scuffs overall and broken at the back of the hinged lid. Labeled for 'S. Mordan & Co'.

Grey over maroon paintwork generally presents quite well . Off side front wing has some bubbling to the rear edge . Off side front door has some bubbling and a crack where some filler is moving . Off side rear door has rust around bottom of the rear edge . Off side rear wheel arch has some visible corrosion as does the near side rear wheel arch . Near side rear door has some rust visible along the bottom edge . Near side front wing has some bubbling . Chrome work has some surface rust Inside . Original grey leather seats look in good order but would benefit from some treatment . Red carpets are OK but have faded . Door cards are in good condition as is the headlining . Radiomobile push button radio Mechanicals . Starts well with the help of a jump pack, so will need a new battery . The automatic gearbox selects drive and reverse . Unfortunately the brakes do not work, so we haven't driven the car very far History . Other than a V5C we have no other history with the car Our Opinion A charming Wolseley that has potential to be a nice entry level classic.

Stunning car in original specification and full service history with 15 stamps . Recent works carried out to the sum of £3523 including a full service . Offered with full book pack including fully stamped service book . Serviced every year with 15 stamps , last at 55704 in March 2022 . Recent replacement exhaust with stainless steel upgrades . Coil packs and both AC condensers replaced . Supplied with two keys . Correct Pirelli P Zero tyres all round . Rare headlight wash option Outside The original guards red paintwork is in exceptional condition and shows no sign of any work been carried out . There are a few very small scratches on the rear edge of the drivers door. The hood is fully operational and without damage . The wheels have no scratches or scuffs and are fitted with correct Pirelli P-Zero tyres all round. Inside This is really a very nice place to sit indeed . It is virtually indistinguishable from new with no damage in any area , the seats , carpets , dashboard and hood being without any issues. The body coloured transmission tunnel is an unusual but very pleasing optional extra. The boot area is like new, contains the original factory tool kit which looks like it has not been used as is the correct factory space saver wheel . Mechanicals The engine starts instantly and quickly settles down. On the road, the Porsche is a delight to drive and must be very close to how it drove when new. The brakes, steering and gearbox all perform as they should. History The Boxster comes complete with a full book pack and wallet which shows it was supplied by Rivervale Porsche in Brighton to Mr Rod Taylor. There are MOT certificates dating back to 2008 and service invoices dating back to 2008. The service book shows that it has been serviced every year, the last being in March 2022. It was main dealer serviced until 20111 then Charles Ivey Porsche specialist until 2020 by Porsche Wilmslow in July then specialist, Addison Autotech in Southport in March 2022 with a supporting invoice for £3523. Our opinion These cars represent tremendous value for money and are very durable, useable and great fun to own and drive. This car is really quite exceptional in all areas and is the product of a proper maintenance schedule by people who know how to look after them. This Porsche ticks all the right boxes with low mileage, great colour, excellent service history, great condition and offers extremely good value for money , on the button and ready to go
