Registration No: RT07 AML Chassis No: SCFBE04B88GD08515 MOT: December 2025Desirable V8 Vantage Roadster presented in Onyx Black with matching Obsidian Black leather interiorBoasts desirable factory options including Bluetooth, cruise control, Aston Martin Premium Audio, heated memory seats and power-fold memory mirrorsOffered having been subject to much recent expenditureFollowing the unveiling of the AMV8 Vantage concept car in 2003 at the North American International Auto Show, the production version, known as the V8 Vantage was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2005 for the 2006 model year. Featuring bonded aluminium structure for strength and lightness, the V8 Vantage was initially powered by a 4.3-litre quad-cam 32-valve V8 which produced 380bhp and propelled the car to 60mph in just 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 175mph and benefited from a 49/51 front/rear weight distribution due to its front mid-mounted engine with rear-mounted transaxle. Later in 2006, Aston introduced their automated manual gearbox option, ‘sportshift’. Sportshift added electro-hydraulic control to the existing Vantage 6-speed manual gearbox to offer improved shift times and replaced the conventional manual gear lever with push button controls and paddles on the steering wheel. The Vantage was an immediate success. Some estimate by the time the car was first shown, some dealers had as much as a three-year waiting list and the car was one of only two cars added to BBC Top Gear’s ‘DB9 Section’ mini fridge, reserved for cars even cooler than ‘Sub Zero’. The car would later go on to receive Jeremy Clarkson’s 2005 Best Sounding Car of the Year, and Coolest Car of the Year. Nowadays, the V8 Vantage is still considered one of the best-looking cars of all time and has become an undisputed modern classic.Manufactured in 2007 and first registered on the 22nd October 2007, this gorgeous Aston is presented in Onyx Black with matching Obsidian Black interior. ‘AE57 KVT’ is a desirable Roadster with the much-loved sportshift gearbox. Showing just c.74,000 miles warranted miles from new, this particular example boasts desirable factory options including Bluetooth, cruise control, Aston Martin Premium Audio, heated memory seats and power-fold memory mirrors. It is understood that the car was first supplied by Stratstone of Wilmslow Aston Martin and there are a total of seven Aston Martin main dealer service stamps on file with the latest services performed by Quirks Car Company and latterly Dorset Sports Car, Aston Martin Specialists. There are seven previous owners recorded on the V5C Registration Document.Included with the vehicle are a number of documents including the original handbook, as well as a large folder containing invoices for other services and works carried out. The car also comes accompanied by original Tracker fobs and the vendor rates the car as ‘very good’ all round, with it evidently having been well cared for throughout its life.PLEASE NOTE: The registration number shown in the images is not included in the sale, the registration on the car is 'RT07 AML'. Lot 208

WW2 USAAF Officers ETO Jacket, British Made, A lovely British made Officers ETO jacket, originally patched up to an officer of the ‘USSTAF’ or ‘United States Strategic Air Forces’. A very nicely done example of an ETO officers’ jacket in which the tapes on the lower arms are present adding to this one’s slightly more unique appearance, adding to that most of these jackets had a button fastening cuff. Clutch back style ‘props & wings’ badges are present on each lapel. Unfortunately, the rank on the epaulettes has since been removed. Judging by the ghosting, they look to have been an embroidered type of Major’s or Lt Col’s leaves. The USSTAF patch sits on the left upper arm. Complete with classic British, wartime period buttons and a tailor’s label, ‘Jones Chalk & Dawson’ of Sackville St, Piccadilly to the inside pocket. Some mothing is present on the lapel and collar, but in no means distracting it from being a very nice period USAAF tunic.

Lot 234

Interior with partial cloth lining with the linen size label washed out.

Breast with medal ribbons for 1939-45 war medal and General Service medal (indicating continued to be worn post WW2). Remains in good overall condition.

Lot 242

WW2 2nd Gurkha Rifles Officers Battle Dress Blouse, fine example of an early khaki officers battle dress blouse with concealed button front. Red blacked black rank pips to the shoulders, embroidered red on green regimental shoulder titles ‘2ND GOORKHA RIFLES’ and printed formation signs for the 25th Indian Infantry division. Interior with size label from Redman Bros, date not clear but looks to be 1939, and inked name of the original owner ‘K M HALL’. Remains in good overall condition.

Lot 210

American B-17 Pilots Uniform and Paperwork Archive of Captain Gerald T Smith DFC, 332nd Bomber Squadron of 94th Bomb Group US 8th Air Force, the comprehensive grouping relating to Cpt Gerald T Smith, Pilot, 332nd BS/94th BG. This excellent grouping consists of his full uniform, officers class A’s with shirt, tie and officers garrison cap as well as his A2 flying jacket. The medals, of which are still cased and a very large quantity of paperwork and photos. The officers class A tunic is good clean condition featuring its full insignia with sterling pilot wings, clutch back ‘US’ tabs and ‘Props’, Captain rank badges to the epaulettes, English made 8th air force badge to the right shoulder and the USAAF patch to the left. Common in these cases to have the previous serving air force patch applied to the opposite shoulder, probably in this case, due to returning home and serving in a training unit. Medal ribbons of the DFC, Air Medal and EAME sit nicely below the wings. The trousers or ‘Pinks’ are in good condition with the brass officers type buckled belt. The shirt with collar rank still present and US made 8th Air Force patch applied and period issue tie. His garrison cap with Captain rank badge in situ is in good condition with the black and gold USAAF piping. The A2 is a private purchase example, with good strong leather and working ‘talon’ zip in which a whistle hangs from. Captain Smith’s DFC and Air medals that accompany this lot are in their black presentation cases, both of which have the ribbon bar and button-hole badge in each. In the blue card boxes, are the American campaign medal, the victory medal and the EAME medal plus a spare set of 3in sterling pilot wings. The paperwork side of this grouping is what makes this lot special, detailing most of Gerald Smiths time with the air force from joining up to post war service. His wartime experiences with the 332nd Bomb Squadron of the 94th Bomb Group, based at Rougham, are fascinating, having Photos of two signed members of Geralds crew, ‘Upton’ his navigator and ‘McCormick’ his bombardier. Other pieces include general order extracts, informing Gerald of his DFC awarded on the 8th December 1943 for extraordinary achievement on the 18th oct 1943 on bringing back his stricken B17 ‘Little Sir Echo’ and crash landing it into a field, in Lydden, Near Dover, Kent, without harm to the crew. This is the second time Gerald made a forced landing, before a landing in the channel in July 1943. He would go on to complete a tour of 25 operational missions over enemy territory and receive an oak leaf to his DFC, of which is still attached to the extract letter, dated 16th Dec 1943. Overall, a fantastic collection of pieces relating to a B-17 pilot in the 8th Air Force. Viewing highly recommended due to the large collection of paperwork in which can’t be described in full here.

Lot 202

WW2 RAF Aircrew War Service Dress Blouse, Escape Compass Button and Trousers, Original war service dress blouse and trousers named to a ‘Wilson, 402570’ to each label plus his dog tags with his surname and service number. The blouse itself is in great condition, 1944 dated to the label and in a size 15. The padded Air Gunner’s brevet sits in the usual place on the chest with the 39-45 star and the Aircrew Europe ribbons. Printed albatrosses are machine stitched to each shoulder above the Flight sergeant’s crowns and stripes. The crowns are in the economy plastic and the stripes of RAAF origin. The best feature of the blouse is the button having been replaced by an escape compass type button. This type of compass could be hung upside down on a piece of string and the two illuminated dots will show true north. Upon the collar hooks is an ‘AM’ marked ditching whistle, quite a common wartime practice. The trousers are of the standard wartime WSD pattern, bare the label stating they are ‘Royal Observer Corps’. Although its likely they are a period mistake. His name of ‘Wilson’ and service number also confirm this pair belong to this air gunner. A good set of named WSD which has some lovely additional features and worth of further research. A great piece of bomber command history.

Lot 228

WW2 British Glider Pilots Battle Dress Blouse, good worn example of a 1937 pattern BD with concealed button front (most buttons now absent). Padded embroidered glider pilots wing above medal ribbons for 1939-45 star, Italy star, Defence medal & 1939-45 War medal. To the arms are beautifully bullion embroidered formation signs for the eighth army above Royal Artillery arm of service strips. Red backed rank pips to the shoulders. The insignia would indicate that the owner was part of the Artillery air observation in Italy. Interior with the remains of the linen label, War Department ink stamped with date letter ‘P’ for 1941. Inked name ‘BECK’ to the inside. Worthy of further research.

Lot 229

Unusual WW2 RAC Battle Dress Blouse, being an economy pattern with button front, yellow backed captains rank pips to the shoulders and medal ribbons for WW2 North West Europe war service. Interior with a 1943 dated size label but also an embroidered tailors label from a Dutch tailor in Tilburg. Remains in generally good condition. Jon Mills has since provided the following information, 'belonged to a Capt A D (Duncan) Crow an officer of the 5th Inniskilling Dragoon Guards who served in NW Europe with the GHQ Liaison Regiment - at one time I had his RAC pattern helmet with the P badge on the side'

Lot 214

Lot 197

Scarce WW2 British 1st Pattern Dispatch Riders Overcoat, constructed from waterproof rubberised material, button front with two lower pockets. Eyelets under the armpits. Size stamped ‘5’ under broad arrow and 1941 date, also war department stamped with date letter ‘P’. Good example of not an easy jacket to find.

Lot 191

WW2 British 3rd Infantry Division Battle Dress Blouse, Pioneer Corps, Austerity battle dress blouse as badged to a Sergeant of the Pioneer Corps in the 3rd infantry division. Printed titles to each shoulder and a ‘combination’ patch of the 3rd Inf Division patch with the arm of service stripe below, sown onto a separate piece of serge before being applied to the blouse, a common wartime practice. The insignia is quite worn and discoloured by the sun. One of the AoS stripes is applied the wrong way around, not an uncommon error seen on BD. Printed Sgt stripes have been applied to each arm. The blouse itself has unfortunately seen better days, suffering from heavy mothing and creating large holes in the serge. The label in situ shows it to be a size 13, 1943 dated and made by ‘Town Tailors Ltd’. A mixture of different button across the blouse and heavy sun bleaching, in particular to the left arm. Despite the condition the blouse strikes as an almost ‘in theatre’ worn piece, to a well-known infantry division which served with great distinction in the North West Europe campaign.

Lot 230

WW2 Welch Regiment South East Asia Command Battle Dress Blouse, fine example of a walking out battle dress blouse with concealed button front. The jacket is in a very good condition with working zip and all buttons in place. Worthy of further research.
