A WWII military Hanhart chronograph wristwatch, the black dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary dials for seconds and 30 minute counter, inscribed WASSERGESCHUTZT, STOSSFEST, 108747, on a leather strap (lacks a button) See inside front cover colour illustration Note: A war souvenir liberated by the vendor's father Condition report Report by MW The watch has wear commensurate with age. The black dial has mellowed with age. The luminous hands and indices/ numerals have yellowed with age. The case has the usual knocks, scratches etc, commensurate with age and the chronograph pusher is missing. The watch is not currently running but the movement appears clean and will require servicing (See illustration). The watch has its original riveted leather strap. The buckle on the strap has become detached with the stitching becoming loose but the buckle is present. Charterhouse does not guarantee the working condition of any watches or clocks.
