This early pattern, intended for India, of reinforced straw construction with no crushing often experienced with the cork variant. Aspreys Of London - An outstanding antique 19th Century English Victorian coromandel and brass bound vanity box of supreme quilty. The travel / dressing table vanity box having brass bound borders to the exterior with the hinged lid opening to reveal an appointed interior. The interior being royal blue leather and velvet lined with a series of cut clear glass scent bottles, vanity bottles and trinket box with all having heavy hallmarked silver tops. The lid interior having a fold-out section with all removables below being within fitted lift out sections. Bramah brass locks and decorative brass hinges to the top section over a single jewellery drawer below retaining the original leather cover and opening via a push button to the interior top. Silver content hallmarked for London date letter M 1967, makers mark for Thomas Whitehouse. Measures approx 21cm x 32cm x 23.5cm.

An antique 19th Century Victorian oak decanter box tea caddy compendium in the manner of Betjeman having a mirror back three decanter bottle holder section with twin folding lift up doors with three section interior. Hidden push button opening the secret drawer to base. Brass mounts through with twin carry handles and plain armorial shield cartouche to top. Original Bramah lock present. No key but is unlocked and functional. Measures approx: 33cm x 34cm x 27cm.

The central drivers seat to the front flanked carriage lamps with a black leather button back passenger seat to the back folding cover with brass studs.
