Registration - GUU 446JChassis No. - 1112786968M.O.T. - ExemptOdometer - 60,000This gorgeous 1971 Volkswagen Beetle 1300 is being offered at No Reserve. It is described as a well looked after car, one that comes with plenty of paperwork from acclaimed VW experts. The full service history is combined with an odometer reading just 60,000 miles. The Cremeweiss paintwork adorns a solid body, says the vendor, which they describe as in ‘good’ condition. It is a “real head-turner” and has formed part of their wedding car fleet, making it a truly well-loved car over the years. ‘GUU446J’ boasts staggered alloy wheels with 205/65 R15 rears and 175/55 R15 at the front, all with tyres still with plenty of life left. It has twin stainless steel exhaust pipes, stainless steel polished bumpers and a cream metal dashboard. A period push-button Blaupunkt radio is another retro touch. The vendor says it had a pre-MOT test in November, with master cylinder, horn, lights and wheel alignment rectified. They also rate the 1300cc flat-four engine, four-speed manual gearbox and electrics as all being in ‘good’ condition. The car has only had 10 pervious keepers, more than half the number that is usual for a 53-year-old vehicle. The vendor has owned it for more than a decade. They add that they have applied for a new V5, too. Of course, the Volkswagen Beetle needs no introduction. Designed before WWII, production was restarted by the Allies, and it quickly developed into an export sensation. Brilliant marketing and advertising in America during the 1960s saw it become particularly popular over there, and this cool, friendly image helped the Beetle endure for many decades. Today, an entire community thrives around it, and running a classic Beetle is both affordable and straightforward. As they say, once you’ve got the bug… · 1971 Volkswagen Beetle offered at No Reserve· Odometer reads just 60,000 miles with full service history· Original period look includes a push-button Blaupunkt radio

Registration - DAP 509BChassis No. - 451500M.O.T. - ExemptOdometer - 67,964With wasp-like colour scheme, this example of Ford’s Cortina MkI is a South African import and offered at no reserve. Under the bonnet of ‘DAP 509B’ sits Ford’s 1.6-litre straight four engine, here fitted with twin 40 Weber carburettors and matched to a four-speed manual gearbox. Presented in striking yellow with tapered black side stripe and accents at the rear, this example of Ford’s four-door saloon features an interior with an inverse colour scheme, and has been restored and modified by the present owner in the couple of years since first registered in the UK.Equipped with a removable Sparco steering wheel as part of an upgraded dashboard – featuring elements such as a push-button starter and media system – the cabin is trimmed in black with yellow stitching, matching door cards, and body-coloured dashboard. Under the surface, the present owner has spent more than £3,000 on restoration, including adding Minilite-style alloy wheels – fitted with new tyres that have now only covered a short number of miles – and brake discs have been fitted at the front with a brake servo added. Displaying an indicated 67,964 miles, ‘DAP 509B’ is reckoned to be in good overall condition by the vendor, with the paintwork and interior described as ‘average’ and the engine, transmission, electrics, and bodywork considered ‘good’.· Offered at no reserve· Imported from South Africa, benefitting from a drier climate· Extensive restoration with enhancements addedFord’s Mark I Cortina was introduced in 1962, replacing the Consul as the manufacturer’s family car. Offered either as a two- or four-door saloon, and a five-door estate, the Cortina was designed by Roy Brown Jr, and named after the famous Italian ski resort, Cortina d’Ampezzo. In fact, the launch saw a publicity stunt where Ford put drove several Cortinas down the resort’s bobsleigh run, with a number of famous drivers such as Jim Clark and Vic Elford tackling a different sort of track. Although Ford of Germany’s Taunus used a front-wheel drive configuration, Ford of Britain stuck with a rear-wheel drive system for the Cortina. At launch, 1.2- and 1.5-litre four cylinder Kent engines were available, as well as a 1.6-litre twin cam unit, driving those rear wheels through either a four-speed manual or three-speed automatic transmission. Production lasted until 1966, when the Mk II arrived late in the year.

Registration - NWT 665AChassis No. - 7332655877M.O.T. - ExemptOdometer - 13,152A rare piece of Sixties Americana, this left-hand drive example of Dodge’s convertible Dart is presented in brilliant white with matching roof. Fitted with parent firm Chrysler’s 225 cu in ‘Slant 6’ – a 3.7-litre straight six unit – and three-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission, ‘NWT 665A’, and comes with working electric folding roof. Fitted out in high-specification GT trim, it features period styling features such as moon chrome hubcaps, and the four-seater, two-door convertible’s interior includes a push-button gear selector, original (though not working) radio, and branded black upholstery with white piping.Described by the current owner as a ‘usable classic’ with ‘lovely patina’, and an American model that can ‘actually fit down roads in the UK’, ‘NWT 665A’ was imported from the States in 2020, and first registered in 2021. With a five-digit odometer reading an indicated 13,152 miles – unwarranted considering its imported history – the Dart is MOT exempt, is fitted with new seatbelts, and has recently had work on the suspension, an oil and filters change, and a full brake service. Considered ‘beautifully kept’ by the vendor, they describe the engine, electrics, and paintwork as in ‘average’ condition, and the transmission, bodywork, and interior as ‘good’.Highly original American classicFour-seat convertible with working powered folding roofClassic style with practical interiorThe third-generation of Dodge’s Dart arrived in 1963, and was available as a two- or four-door saloon, a four-door estate, two-door coupe, or two-door convertible. Moving down a size category compared to the outgoing model, the new Dart was pitched as a ‘senior compact’, and offered with 2.8- or 3.7-litre ‘Slant 6’ engines from Chrysler – a straight six, with cylinder bank canted over 30-degrees – and a 4.5-litre V8. These were matched to either a three- or four-speed manual gearbox, or a three-speed Torqueflite auto. Three specifications were offered when new; an entry-level 170, mid-range 270, and range-topping GT, before the fourth-generation Dart was introduced in 1967.

The sleek superformed aluminium body of the DB9 was initially designed by Ian Callum but had also been significantly influenced by the next director of AM design, Hendrik Fisker. It was powered by a third-generation version of the now familiar 6.0 litre, V12 and has a top speed of 186mph. The DB9 was the first of what was to become a long line of production Aston Martins to use VH architecture; using superformed parts in the chassis and footwell as well as the body panels. The individual die-cast, extruded or stamped aluminium elements of the VH platform are bonded with strong adhesives and self-piercing rivets to make a lightweight but stiff backbone. The DB9 body shell weighed 25% less than that of the DB7 but has double its torsional rigidity. This process also allowed Aston Martin to retain high levels of engineering accuracy in producing a car at a higher volume, ensuring chassis performance to match the engine power. Aston Martins have always made the interior of their cars to be very special places. The fine detail of finishing is typified by the starter button made of glass and sand etched with the Aston Martin wings logo. This example is presented very well in silver with a black interior and wood trim, a very classy and understated colour combination which has aged particularly well. The car has been in current ownership since September 2020 and has been used by our vendor on special occasions and summer days, covering around 3,000 miles during his ownership. The car is supplied with a history file showing good maintenance over the years from a mixture of Aston Martin main dealers and independent garages. Interested parties should note, the car was subject to a Category D insurance claim in March 2012. Supplied to auction with a V5C registration document and MoT test certificate valid until July 2025. These cars look like extremely good value today and this example is no exception. Consigned by Fraser Smith*Interested parties should note, contrary to the catalogue description, the car is presented in good overall condition although does show blemishes, commensurate with the cars age. Presented in Meteorite Grey with Phantom Moonshadow leather trim which is arguably the best colour combination. This example has been well maintained and is sitting on optional Primo alloy wheels, at 10,000 miles a service was last completed in July 2022 by J.H. Pearce & Co with four new tyres added, coupled to the last MoT on 29th February, 2024 with new brake pads, hand brake cable and calliper installed by Harding Auto Services. These cars are a joy to drive, emitting a very throaty staccato sound from the characterful V12 engine, whether cruising on a wave of torque or wringing it out in fast road driving. Lot 139

The Jensen Interceptor was launched in 1966, utilising an all steel bodyshell, breaking away from the company's traditional method of construction that used Glass Reinforced Plastic. Designed by Carrozzeria Touring, the early cars were built by Vignale before production eventually was carried out at the Jensen works in West Bromwich. The imposing presence, power and distinctive shape that included the wrap around glass rear hatch drew the rich and famous to the marque attracting the attention of esteemed owners such as HRH Princess Anne, Sir Cliff Richard, actors John Thaw CBE, Tony Curtis, and Eric Morecambe OBE who once told Parky that his Jensen Interceptor ‘brought him sunshine’. It has often been said and many would rightly argue that 1966-1976 Jensen Interceptors were, and remain, a realistic alternative to the Aston Martin V8 of the same period. The Mark II version was announced in October 1969, with slightly revised styling around the headlamps, front grille and bumper and revised rear lights. The interior was substantially revised to meet US regulations. This delightful example was purchased new in 1970 by Robin Ellis the TV heart-throb from the original and popular series Poldark. It was one of just 694 right hand drive examples manufactured. Several Jensen enthusiasts have owned the car since then. The early life of this extremely smart Jensen is supported by a large file containing the factory documentation, older paperwork and historic MoT test certificates. In 2015 this Mk. II benefitted from a fully detailed and documented restoration. In recent times the car was fitted with a starter button and a cut-off switch. The most recent service was carried out in January 2023. This Jensen represents a perfect combination of right car for the right money given its realistic estimate. Consigned by Dominic Lake. RESTORED EXAMPLECELEBRITY ORIGINAL OWNERRARE MODEL

Caterham relaunched the Series 3 model in 1974 featuring the Lotus Twin Cam and Ford Crossflow engine options after Graham Nearn bought the tooling from Colin Chapman in 1973 initially building Series 4 cars before reverting to the classic styling of the Series 3.This 1980 example is a rare early survivor for which the original purchase invoice is in the history file. Offered in its original classic colour combination of Lotus green and yellow the Caterham comes with its original registration number! Purchased by a previous owner in 2020 who found the car in Italy requiring restoration. A father and son repatriated it to the UK whereupon the chassis was sent to Arch Motors who were responsible for constructing the original chassis. They repaired and re-skinned the chassis using the correct jig. Invoices are on file for this work as well as more recent work by them to lower the floors and convert it to 'long cockpit' specification. Fitted with a 1700cc Ford Crossflow engine utilising a Mexico block in order for a five-speed gearbox to fit the engine. Offered with a recent MoT with no advisories and fitted with a new genuine Caterham tonneau cover and five new Yokohama tyres, amongst other recent maintenance work, the invoice totalling £3,408! As such the vendor reports that the Caterham drives very well indeed and is ready to be enjoyed by its new custodian and is on the button producing approximately 130 bhp. The general condition of the car is very good, the paintwork is in good order with very few blemishes to show and the interior is in fine fettle. The current vendor purchased the vehicle as a fun and mechanically uncomplicated car which would also be eligible, due to its age, for many classic car rallies. This is a superb opportunity to snap up a rare early survivor. The lowered floors make this a very desirable proposition and having recently been treated to much maintenance work the Caterham is ready to be enjoyed immediately. Stunning condition with TV's, soft close, massage, electric blinds etc. etc. etc.UK registered with V12 Lexus engine and private plateAdjustable Air Ride SuspensionRare factory seven-layer blue coachworkAn ultra-luxury saloon produced for the Japanese market, the Century’s appearance is iconic in Asian countries, serving as Toyota's flagship car within Japan. The Century derived its name from the 100th birthday of Sakichi Toyoda the founder of Toyota Industries. It is often used by the Imperial House of Japan, the Prime Minister of Japan, senior Japanese government leaders and high-level executive businessmen. The Century is comparable in purpose to the Cadillac Series 70, Mercedes-Benz 600 Series, Maybach, BMW Goldfisch, Bentley, Chinese Red Flag, Rolls-Royce, and Russian ZIS/ZIL limousines. While the Century is a premium, full-size luxury saloon, it is not available at Japanese Lexus dealerships; it can only be purchased at specifically identified Toyota Store locations. The exterior styling of the Century has, with some modifications, remained unchanged since its introduction, primarily due to its perception as denoting conservative success. This stunning example of the rare and desirable Century was first imported in August 2020 by a Toyota enthusiast and club member. Maintained very well this example passed just this year to our vendor who had always wanted to own the Japanese luxury car and has spent the summer with friends travelling in luxury. The passenger compartment is richly appointed with many luxury touches including soft and supple heated power massage seats in the desirable wool finish. Further features include Mahogany wood steering wheel and cabinet, rear curtains all round, including electric rear blind, factory fitted shoe horns and Century branded Walkman. Launched in 1954, the XK140 boasted a similar bewitching styling as its forebear, the landmark XK120, but allied to a host of important mechanical improvements. The steering changed to rack & pinion with telescopic shock absorbers which had a noticeable effect on handling & roadholding. Reportedly now capable of over 130mph, Jaguar’s XK140 was amongst the fastest cars of its generation winning Le Mans, incredibly, in 1951, 1953, 1955, 1956 & 1957.Originally delivered to Jaguar dealerships, Bellamy’s, it then spent some time in Sweden before this matching-numbers example appears to have been repatriated back to the UK in 1989. Originally supplied in Dove Grey, it is now offered in Old English White and, although the current paintwork is not perfect, it starts on the button, runs well and offering plenty of scope for improvement. The contrasting biscuit leather interior is in relatively good order with matching carpets and wood cappings and dash, also sound. This example had its carburettors stripped, rebuilt and tuned in 1994 followed by an unleaded cylinder head fitted in 2001 not to mention a number of additional modifications such as a leather bonnet strap and twin Lucas front fog lights contributing to its sporting credentials. Unusually, it still sits on original pressed steel wheels with aluminium hubcaps and centre-screw Jaguar spinners. The period longwave radio still remains in-situ alongside a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate, a V5C document and an extensive file of bills and invoices as well as both doors boot that all lock, as required, and a stainless-steel exhaust running from manifold to tips.
